Does anyone know why Tiger uses tape on his right middle finger? I've been entertaining the thought of using tape on my left middle finger (under my glove - I'm RH). Is Tiger's grip with his right hand middle finger dominant? -- or does he just use it for feel.

Thanks SFgolfer. Makes perfect sense. My grip has been slipping slowly and I believe I've been killing my left forearm as a result.

Two completely different shafts, however. The Diamana 63 feels like a more forgiving shaft compared to the Rombax and its feel is much softer in relation to stated flex. Ballflight is also flatter for me than the Diamana 63 which tends to just get the ball up.

I have a Ping G5 8.5 with head weighted and shaft installed by Joe Kwok to play at D3. The Fuji Rombax (x-flex) is much more forgiving than the 757 in my opinion and has a tight dispersion. The former may be the result of a high tip torque but I'm not sure. Great shaft -- pricey too :) t-md

Is it possible to improperly grip the club by having it TOO much in the fingers?

So I videotaped my swing the other day... I noticed that I'm not connecting my arms well with my torso -- causing my hands to drift outwards and away from my beltline during the take away. This obviously results in loss of power on all of my clubs. Any drills to assist with this? I know that Vijay places a headcover under his left arm.

There is a set on eBay as we speak (4-PW) -- pretty clean by my eyes.
