  1. curious to finally hear the end story. this topic has been going on too long :tsg_smilie_tired:
  2. great review on the 900md. looking to switch from a blade and these sound perfect. so you keeping them or what :tsg_smilie_whistle:
  3. shafts go by swing speed in meters/second
  4. Anybody playing these and can post a review? Thanks!
  5. their regular px-1 line is priced the same as gd/fuji for those that can't/won't drop $1k :tsg_smiley_no:
  6. how do these compare with the gd m series? are they similar? thanks!
  7. surprised the carbon crown is gone but looks real nice. like that logo too.
  8. 105g in stiff. pretty much a modified 1050. something funky with the first steps that maru liked. that's all i can remember.
  9. going by the stamping and the finish i would guess the wedge is made of 99.9% pure iron. that's why it looks like a "black oxide" finish. but it's just the natural color - greyish metallic.
  10. what shaft you got in them and how's the trajectory? thanks!
  11. chris - how did they play? just curious. don't have $4-5k for a set of irons :surprize:
  12. I can think of a few better options on the market for you today. The Fourteen TB-1000's are cast yet pretty forgiving, I would say just as forgiving as the MP-33's. The RC Pro forged are a Japan closeout model, not even the RC staffed players on the JPGA took a liking to. If it must be blade like, you know my first choice would by far be the MB2's. If not those try some custom mizzy 33, 37 or 32's. If you feel like you got big time skills try the X-Blade2. If you are set on one of those two sets you have mentioned go with the TB-1000's, cast yes but they still felt good at impact and I would consider them a Neo blade with a lower center of gravity than most other MB's. thanks for the heads up on the pro forged. no wonder their going for so cheap!
  13. you don't hear much about this shaft in the states but it's the most expensive gd either as shaft only or as a shaft upgrade in japan. want to try one but too much :money:
  14. never tried the "one" or "balde" but used to play the tour series which is also anser style. balance and stability are a little better if you play a 33/34 shaft due to the heavier head weight. pretty similar overall but prefer the impact feel of gauge. better value compared to the retail camerons imo. plus the trnc face really rolls the ball nice!
  15. looking for a new set of blades. going with the fourteen tb-1000 or royal collection pro forged. reviews are solid for both but anybody actually play these before? thanks!

It shouldnt launch lower than the original Type H but it should launch lower than the current C.V Pro. just for reference i usually hit a high ball but the trajectory with my cv pro is much lower than the wood it replaced. the ball really gets out there quick.
  17. how much are these going for or is this your personal?
  18. chris - is this the shaft with the same design as the ut/w/i series in the blue and white color scheme?
  19. i've seen this before but had no idea it was that big!!! you just can't tell from the pics. i think i read somewhere Shingo uses this. is this true chris? btw. beautiful villa :money:
  20. seems like it. saw the new crews triple sole. what's special about it? it's milled :surprize:

your about ten years off crazy! it was the 2000-2001 japan model :surprize: just five years young at 285cc. actual hitting surface is really not that small imo. i'd keep the shaft. those tour designs are quality and stiff too. at least the 70g one i had.
  22. thanks +1. interesting.
  23. i guess not to all models then. and the shop does the work. there's several authorized by gauge and they have all the stampings and materials. i know you can do the forged L for sure. wanted one a while back but the work is quite expensive. it was pretty much raw to start with. gauge online shop does some limited mods. i'm sure chris can probably hook it up for you since you are pretty much tsg's #1 gauge ho :fever:
  24. Im interested if ya got some! drop me a PM... P.S why you on a Proxy IP? just out of curiosity. what is a proxy ip and why does it seem like a bad thing? thanks!
