T: How much for the set?? Will TSG be getting some set?? Does the black finish come off with use?? I am a big fan of FOURTEEN Wedges..currently playing the MT28 JSpec 50/54/58... This would be ideal for me....

I am super fan of Tour ADs too.. Currently using W70 and UT85 and QT65.. I also have AXIV 6064M.. I do think the AXIV do kick quite a bit more then any of the TourADs I own but dispersion is tighter on the TourADs. Am I right to assume reg. AXIV has the most kick over AXIV-V and AXIV-X?? What's the difference anyways and how come so many AXIV to choose from and relatively less for V/X??? How are the new QT MDs differ from the green 2207 QTs???

I got a Graphite Design Quattro Tech 65SR that I am using on my J33 Driver... However, I got anohter QT 65Stiff that is unused.. I bot both for fitting purposes and ended up using the SR.. It ain't your flex but let me know if you want to give it a try... FYI, I have Tour AD W70 Stiff, AXIV 6064M on my other drivers.. the QT SR feels softer then both of those.. this might give you an idea how the S will feel..

I guess that you would be a subscriber as well.. Just wanted to make sure that my bookshop is correct.. Yes, it sucks that it's discontinued.. I have all 4 of those DVDs.. I guess that is all of them.. Waggle is pretty good too...

Have been subscribing to this from my local Japanese Bookstore and apparnetly it's no longer in print? The last issue I got was Sept 2007. Can anybody confirm if that is indeed the last issue?? It was a great magazine.. sorry to see it go....

My clubbuilder says Bridgestone J33 typically is over 200gm.. 200-205gm.. Might come in handy for guys that prefer shorter drivers then 45" without resorting to hot glue.. I have mine built just like that with GD TourAD QT 65SR...

Question, if my exsiting putter has just the mill marks, Can I send it back to Sasaya-San to get it milled with the grooves?? I like the insert but it's out of my price range?? Lastly, Can I change my flat black finish to something like Teflon Black?? Does Teflon back require periodic milling??

There are a lot of pictures and graphs on the Tourstage website about them.. It says that Miyazato Ai uses them.. I THINK that it's lighter at 90gm but it's stiff like the 950NSPro Stiff.. Also, it has more shock absorption from what I can tell. Someone that can read japanese please correct me if I am wrong.

I play them too.. Mine are the plated J-Spec in 54 and 58 with Nippon NSPro Wedge Flex. (that's what is printed on the shaft) The satin finish is nicer then the Miuras Irons I have had.. Don't take it wrong.. Miura are still my favovite irons but just want to say that the craftsmanship is as good as any I have seen. I know that they are cast for sure.. but not sure by whom.. They are very playable and do put serious spin on the ball.. I play these in rotation to my set of Joe Kwok modified (grind and re-grooved) Vokey Oil Cans. The Joe Kwok grind makes the Vokeys a bit more flexible in the type of shots I want to hit but the Fourteens do feel better.. I think the most ideal would be to get J. Kwok to grind my set of Fourteens.. but the potential problem is that they are very light swingweight at D1.. so further grinding will lightened it too much... Definitely worth a try..

Slightly off topic.. hope you guys don't mind.. How about TC770 and TC550.. both are forged?? How do they compare?? Curious on the TC550.. but R7 Forged can be had quite cheaply nowadays on the site..

I tried it back to back with the MC-101.. It didn't feel like a Miura.. it's missing that forged feel.. I ended up buying the MC-101 which I have since sold.. the Miura 101 is still the best feeling iron that I have hit but it ain't a super forgiving iron... Currently playing Tourstage ViQs... not as good feeling.. still soft... but I score better and hit further with these....

Miura is god hands (at least it appears on issue after issue on golf gear magazine).. Epon is factory.. ha ha.. just kidding.. seriously hit my share of both.. I prefer Miura hands down.. feel is just better.. personal opinion...

If I am not mistaken.. ViQ used to go on two year cycles... i.e. the ViQ Iron was introduced in Dec 2005 and not it's replaced with new model.. Likewise the ViQ Fwy and Hybrid.. The ViQ Deep and ViQ MX came out Dec 06 and it's being replace in Dec 07 (one year cycle) Now the ViQ Forged came out Dec 06 and will be replaced this Dec 07.. I guess Tourstage is adapting the Talyormade model.. introducing so many R7 Drivers that it's even hard to keep track of what's what.. and that's not including the Burner models... Chris, when they go on clearance.. would you be able to secure a few sets of the ViQ Forged for us?? I am sure there are many TS ho's in the forum..

Check the website again.. I think the machine goes for 10000JPY and the software/properitary USB cable goes for 4000JPY.. The combo should be under $150USD... Definitely a fun toy to have at the driving range.. Go home and analyze your shots.. and get average swingspeeds for irons, drivers and wedges... Sounds like a useful tool to work on your swing.. Gocchin, add it to the pro shop asap!!!!

Interested as well.. But surely we will need to trouble Gocchin to translate the owners manual. Or write a short manual on how to use this thing... What about the laptop hook up for $40??? what is that??

Thankx for the detailed reply.. One more question, have you played TC770 cast vs. TC770 Forged?? I have hit Mizuno MP60, Cally X-Forged and BS J33 and Miura MC101 and liked MC101 the best and J33 second best, MP60 3rd.. How do you think the TC770 rates in terms of feel in comparsion?? As on title, has anyone hit these irons back to back??? Have studied the topline, appearances and such.. Mostly interesting in the feel and playing characteristics.. Currently playing great on a set of Tourstage ViQ Cast Irons, considering moving to a Forged set.. TC770 is supposed to be softer then TC770;thus, the reason for inclusion. Have looked at XXIO Forged, Epon etc.. not particular intersted at this point unless you guys feel that it's head and shoulders above the 3 that I have mentioned... Comments are much appreciated.
