Is the Tourstage Z101 a high center of gravity iron ? And is the Mizuno MP-37 a low center of gravity blade ?

In fitting someone with irons how important is the relationship of lower center of gravity vs. high center of gravity ?

I just recently got back to lifting weights. I was watching the golf channel one evening and saw Aron Baddley on there - his routine was working the core muscles and doing major muscle groups - flat bench-millitary lift, etc. So I am sticking to major muscle groups split between upper and lower 4 times a week - I have been doing it for 6 weeks and feel the difference. Only do 3-4 sets per excercise and 8 - 12 reps. Always stretch between sets to stay loose. First couple of weeks are painful but passes faster than you think. Try hitting the range for a small bucket after a workout when you have time. Be careful with supplements - such as creatine - be aware of dosages prolonged usuage and possible ill effects. Kidney's and liver pass all this stuff. I just had kidney stone surgery - not too fun.

Then there is the flip side. Most of the ranges just went to grass this week - so yesterday I was hitting the ball so well that I hit like 175 balls - man I was sore this morning. :blackeye:

I played a stiff untipped and it felt a little stout - in comparison to my 660 TR stiff tipped 3/4. IMo it feels like 1/2 flex stiffer. Smooth shaft for the $$$.

Mike - I have found it best to drop it right there and go chip or put I played a bit like a pig today - but made a very psoitive change in my pre-shot routine and setup. I address the ball with both hands on the club where before I addressed with only my left. I found this gets me square to the target and I hit the ball much starighter instead odf a draw. Problem I am use to hitting a draw/hook. I feel like I am very close - drives where great- no putts dropped.

905T is solid - like a 983 on steriods - longer and straighter - solid sound.

Must be the price or maybe the peformance. The Z's are the best looking CB hands down - and I am saying this after the fact that I have sold them.

The black is awesome - personally I like rounder rather than square and a thin top line. Do you have a larger pic of those heads above ?

Played yesterday and now the driver left me - oh well - still April - had fun anyway. Played in a scramble the day before - and I doo believe it threw off my tempo. I really feel like my swing changes will all eventually come together. Have really focused on the short game and it is paying off. No regrets with the mizzy's - but still gettin use to it. may play hooky Monday and stay in Michigan an extra day hit a course that I know is empty and just play all day. Played yesterday - first round with the Mizzy-37's I am still laughing. It was windy - and the front side is a links style course. Anywho- need to figure out my iron distances - hitting long and no more hook - makes for a difficult day - but it was fun testing out the irons. The R7 660 combo is freakin unbelievable. 4 days to go - and the bag must be settled - except for the putter.
