  1. Rob - I have to say that I think the TourStage F/UT's are amazing from any lie. Especially if you don't like too much offset or a closed head. They are very solid and long. I had mine reshafted with the NV85 Hybrid shafts and the weight of the heads along with the 85 gram shafts really work well for me. Here's some photos.
  2. How much stronger are those lofts than Z101's? Here's the Z specs with DG's installed. 3. I had the same problem, I was hitting my Irons one and a half clubs longer than the X-blade Cb's, These puppies are long and you will have to re adjust your yardage thinking. Where I would be hitting a 6 iron from I now hit an 8. I hit an 8 Iron w/Graphite 170 the other day :surprize: Chris - Thanks again for talking me out of my other choice of irons. How was the graphite in those? That would be an interesting try. The 6.0 kick very nice in these for me though.
  4. Right thanks for the correction. I didn't even notice it. Dyslexic spaz bastard that I am. Congrats on the game! Talk to you...
  5. Ok, second day. More of the same... The hardest part I'm having is getting used to the length. I'm hitting these things at least a club longer. I'm not a monster hitter or anything either. I'm hitting over greens I used to land on when I hit it pure and accurate. I'm going to play tomorrow too. ...
  6. Yikes, I'll let you know. If they are durable it's an excellent feel, that's for sure.
  7. Day Two - Still can't talk, gotta play golf, pictures added.
  8. Hah, I think I'll keep my Z101's for now. But, they are definitely in the backup role. Also, those new two toned grips that the Gauge have as an option are really excellent. Great feel with them.

Yes, it's on the Graphite Design shafts as well.

Butt - Mid - Tip this refers to those graph charts that they use along the shaft and on the Japanese website. The higher the lines go on the graph the stiffer for that section of the shaft. It's a visual representation of the shaft left (butt) to center (mid) and right (tip).
  11. I have seen the future (at least my future)... It's called Gauge... They came in today. Played 'em, Can't talk, Dry throat, First time, talk later, trying to type, no air ... I'm waiting for someone to pinch me. Good God! I'm getting ready to testify. ... :surprize: :surprize: :surprize: :gauge: :gauge: :gauge: :surprize: :surprize: :surprize: I thought you guys might like to see these photos.
  12. I can attest that those wedges are like new. No real visible wear.
  13. I know that other companies especially in Japan were already working on this type of weighting, but it's really interesting seeing these photos! Thanks Chris.

In comparisons to Mizuno MP-30's and the TourStage 202's with the Z101's.. There isn't any comparison. The Z's are head and shoulders above. The 202's set up chunkier and they don't feel anything like the Z's. They feel good but the Z's have the forgiveness of the 202's. Even in the long irons yet they set up like blades. They are the most forgiving iron I've ever hit and that includes MR CB's, MB's, 202's, Miz 30's, Callaway Pros, Cobras, Cleveland TA's, Titleist 690 CB's, and more. That being said they are truly players clubs with smaller heads and workability if you need it. The long irons are just stupid easy to hit, even the 2 iron. In short, I haven't got my Guage CB's delivered yet, but right now the Z's are in my bag.

I like the Titleist in this one. The 983E is a solid, club.
  18. I'm partial to the TourStage UT's, but those Nike's look very good!
  19. Yum, salted edamame ! Yeah baby!
  20. Joe, It must have been a big boom into the net for you to want one! I'm looking forward to getting one of the Japanese ones.
  21. Either the Tourstage MR-23 FW's or the F's. The F gets the nod for forgiveness, but the MR is like a mini Maru and Long!
