Hi Kent, The undercut is in all the clubs 4-PW (no 3 iron for the 701). Honestly I have not seen the wedges before so I'd have to check. Looking at Epon Golf's official specs, there is no mention of any differences between the two wedges and the rest of the set. Let me see what I can find out.
  2. Oh my god those pics are amazing... I feel depressed now looking outside at my mounds of snow... at least it's melting!
  3. Hi and welcome to the forums! There is indeed a 4 iron. It's been added to the listing and specs have been updated. http://www.tourspecgolf.com/proshop/p1343/...oduct_info.html
  4. Great stuff as always B. When people ask me about the EMB, I always recommend the stock shaft. There are many customers who are not part of this forum so they don't know what great feedback the stock shaft is getting and they email me dismissing it immediately. I always try and talk them into trying it but they just can't believe a stock shaft performs that well!
  5. You forgot to mention your backup bag and all the other clubs in your collection! (^_^) Lets see more pics!

Doc, good feedback! How does the GT setup compared to the G-Field and TS? It's about 165cc and does look like it sets up nicely.
  7. Your assumption about the 9003 being a stiffer profile is correct. As for flexes. There is always some overlap depending on the type of player and their preference, and ranges aren't always right. But as a general reference and guide only: MD7 S = 100-110 X = 105-115
  8. Your wish will come true.... soon. (^_^)
  9. I like the looks of this wedge... now that I see it in person, I think the price value is awesome!
  10. I am the same... I love the club but the sight line bothers me... I wish there was none!
  11. That's good feedback, thanks. How did you find the feel of the face between the two?
  12. They are indeed very close, based on design I think the 460 is a touch taller because of it's curved shape topline. But the AF-101 has the larger sweetspot because it does not use an insert face like the 460.
  13. 1) most to least forgiving 701 ViQ JPX 550 2) soft to harder/clicky feeling 550 viq jpx 701 cause it's the only one with an undercut which also makes it the most forgiving All are still soft... I don't even notice the click... on pure hits with the 701 you feel butter especially with graphite which helps reduce the clickiness 3) mid to larger head size All are mid, viq is probably the largest 4) thinner to wider sole all about equal viq probably widest 5) least to most offset again very close and very hard to tell even side by side All four iron sets are targeting similar audiences (I've seen single digit handicaps play all four and even 20 handicaps play all four) and are very close in size and shape. All are very good irons, and will perform awesome. Choosing the shaft may be harder than choosing the irons! But if you know you want GD shafts and an iron that pure performs... Epon 701's are the only ones you can actually order with GD.

I'm using the 48 series No.1. Very comparable in size to Iomic Sticky. Pretty durable if you get the right color (i mean dirty looking wise). I hear there is a new grip company on the horizon in Japan that will top both Iomic and Nowon....
  15. No that's Japan only, you posted here in the J-Spec section so I thought you were asking about Japan.
  16. No news from Titleist for drivers but TM just is about to release the new XR driver. Square but round...
  17. I may be wrong but I think Chris once mentioned that Teflon Black may be the most durable of the black finishes. Black oxide still needs to be wiped down and kept from moisture, you can tell as when black ox gets wet, the colors in the black ox practically streak... teflon black water rolls off like a teflon frying pan (^_^)

The CB247's come from Miuraism which is Miura's high end tuning shop, they hand pick the best steel for all Miuraism irons which is why no Miuraism iron retails for under $2100. Extra extra tight tolerances (weight and finish) along with the best steel ensure Miura's best of the best irons.

You're very welcome. The JC-606 is a still a very nice driver... you are now on the path of no return for JDM gear. (^_^)

Shep the White is pretty low spin as it is! The MD6 would be a pretty good choice as would an X-Con 6. With your swing speed and agressive move, you're borderline X-Stiff and Stiff, for the Ozik that would be okay as you could get Strong flex which is between Stiff and X-Stiff. For the MD6, if when you go at it, you think you reach 112-115mph then I'd suggest the X-Stiff.

PM Chris for the killer price... it's way below that. (^_^)

You've had quite the few months of new driver testing.... quite an arsenal to choose from!
  23. It should be around D0-D2 at stock length.

I was formerly an Iomic user but last year switched to No.1 grips for their softenss and tackiness. I'm actually finding I like the really brand new Epon grips that are based on Golf Pride Tour Velvet style. They are tacky enough but not quite as thick as the No.1 (I even use 48 series) which allows me to turn over more quickly as I have smaller hands.

I actually play the UT-55 in my hybrids. Amazing shaft and the perfect match for my irons which use AD-65. Nice feel, stable trajectory and control.
