help with rifle shafts pls...
Well, I haven't put my Monaccos on any head yet so I couldn't compare the two. It's a good shaft but it doesn't give you the "feel" of a Nippon-Modus or otherwise.

help with rifle shafts pls...
125 grams for the 6.5. I play them and like them but the Satins "felt" better. I found them to get the ball high despite being flighted. If the shot is well struck, the wind doesn't affect the ball too much.

WTB: JBeam 10 Degree or 10.5 Degree Driver Head with Head Cover
I have no preference if the driver head is a 425 Tour or 435 (slightly preferred). I know that Crazy and JBeam are practically the same but I really find the JBeam logo more appealing to my eye even though it makes no difference when one is swinging it. All I know is when I look at all the pictures at TSG, the JBeam logo wins me over the Crazy logo. I'd prefer head only but if it came with a stiff shaft like a Quadra FEX or a Crazy shaft, then that is definitely something I would consider. Please PM for any leads, offers or questions. Tnx in advance.

MONACCO VS MODUS 3 (DP prototypes x )
Please post your findings ASAP!!! I'm very intrigued. I have the Monaco's waiting for heads but I'm also looking for the Nippon Modus and SPB so I can have options to play with and find the best fit for me.

I'm interested in getting heads only or with shafts if the shafts are to my liking.

Miura CB-2006 New for 2009!
Can't wait for your review. I know when I hit the 1006 with the Tour Concept shaft at the Vista Golf Shop it was a tremendous combination. It felt better than the Epon J and S at the time. I don't know why I didn't pull the trigger then when Chris was willing to cut a deal. The 1006 were beautiful but the 2006 looks just as nice but more "mechanical". I hope they perform and feel as well as the 1006.

AKIRA TM Driver, Wedges and Hybrid
I have not been keeping up with any of their other products. I still have the same driver and was lucky enough to purchase a 9 degree head. I haven't decided which shaft to put on it . . . yet. I'm still waiting for Cris to give a complete feedback on the test shafts he's been trying. I've tried other drivers on the market, Tourstage, On/Off with a Roddio Shaft, domestic brands, Maruman, etc and nothing has performed better than the Akira with the Rombax shaft. The head gives a very solid feel and is hot, hot, hot. I'm getting roll that I never had with any of the drivers I've tried. I thought the 45 day rule would apply but it's been nearly a year and it's still in my bag. I have not seen anything on the market that would make me change with the possible exception of the new Black On/Off but I think I'd rather spend the money on an exotic shaft to put with my other Akira head. The only thing I've heard about the company is that their irons were highly rated by Golf Partners and were endorsed by that organization. I really doubt if Akira can come out with a better head than the TM but I'm willing to try with a company whose products have been very good to me!!! BTW, the 9 degree with the Rombax shaft performed so well that my buddies ended up paying for the new 9 degree head . . . if you get my drift. If you can still find some here in the US, I would definitely give it a try. As far as the hybrid, I gave it up because I had to change my swing with it. The Nippon steel shaft on it was too light and I had to slow down too much. But when I did time it correctly, the club was solid. My buddy ended up with the club and he has been ecstatic with its performance. He now is able to hit the green from 200 yards out and be able to land it soft. He is no longer afraid of the long par 3's. As for me, my 3 and 4 iron still performs beautifully and still feels ultra soft even if I did not know that it was ENDO Forged.

Akira ADR
I love the 9 degree Akira TM with the Rombax shaft. I finally got a hold of another 9 degree head and am deciding on what shaft to experiment with--I'm waiting for a heads up from Chris about the prototype shafts he's working on. The Akira TM is the best feeling head I've hit and I've hit most of the older version Japanese heads on this site. Nothing felt as good as the Akira. However, with all the new goodies out there, something may feel and be better but you can't go wrong with the Akira. Good Luck!!!

Mizuno MP-HOKKAIDO Irons w/ PICS!
Wow!!! That is one good looking iron set. I wonder and hope that Epon can produce something similar. If that were the case, I would finally retire my T-Zoid ProII. TourspecGolfer, is an Epon iron set exactly like this somewhere down the horizon?

ONOFF: 440cc Plus Driver w/PICS!
Played 18 holes at Harding with the 9 degree driver with the Roddio W-6WA Stiff shaft and 18 holes today in very windy conditions at Monarch Bay right by the Bay. This driver is tremendous. No problems finding fairways and it's very very very forgiving. Distance wise, it's longer than my Akira/Rombax driver--the Roddio shaft has a beautiful load and kick at impact and it feels very stable. For all who haven't hit a Roddio, you are truly missing out. My buddy also hit the club today and he just couldn't get over how much longer and more accurate he was--against the wind. This combination is very easy to work left and right and has a tremendous amount of carry. Roll was reasonable but the carry with and against the wind was outstanding. The ball shoots off the face and the feel at impact is solid and muted. Definitely a big thumbs up!!!
