I would bend the 56* weaker. 54/10 is reasonable, IMO 54/14 is too much bounce unless your playing conditions are very soft and or you plan on using it for sand shots. Fluffy sand not firm sand.

Much appreciated. Seems there is an insert that fits over end of shaft and fits in to the head. Can't find anything but the adapter for the RS Nabla.

Is anyone familiar with the ferrule needed to re shaft an Egg 7 driver. Pulled original shaft with low heat and a ferrule burnt up that apparently is used that seems to be like a sleeve that goes on shaft to be inserted in hosel of driver. Help please

These are the best irons Yamaha has made. Can't believe you have to give them away.

I've played both but not together. I'm sure I'll upset some folks here but.. the KM0107 irons were probably the worst JDM heads I've ever played. If you're a digger you're in trouble. The turf interaction for me, was horrible. Feel average at best, I did play them with steel shafts. The shafts do indeed play stiff to flex. I'll be surprised if they don't hold up well even when going after it. The have a firm. smooth, solid feel. Dispersion is excellent. I can promise you they were some of the most expensive iron shafts available when new. I would expect them to enhance the irons significantly. Interested to hear your experiences after you've had a chance to play them. Remember You can always pull the shafts, sell the heads and ask first this time. :)

Good points listed but one other to consider IMO, this is very much a mini driver, more so than a true FW. Off the tee set up the same as the driver with the tee obviously teed lower. From fairway set up as if you are trying to hit driver off the fairway.... Find a used quadra FE driver shaft and butt cut down to playing length.

You guys really messed up not picking up the Tousrstage irons and wedges. There's nothing out that's any better. I wouldn't sell my set for twice the price.

Hopefully a conforming version is not too far away.

In a thread asking what one brand would you use a couple of years a go... even then PRGR was #1 in my book. Even more so now. They're the new Tourstage, or at least what Tourstage was for a very long time.

Nice write up Stew. You can tell you're having a blast on the course. As many times as I've had my set of TR500's out to photograph and sell I just stop... can't do it. Unless you've hit these there's really know way of describing how sweet these are. The looks alone are worthy of framing and mounting. The feel... honestly there's nothing else like them.

Someone has to say it.... better pics would go a long way selling these....

As sub 400cc Driver heads go, the Epon is the best head I've ever played. Yes, that includes the T.388 I own 2 of them and I'm still considering this one.... you guys are missing out.

Beat me to it.... not just as far as a great players CB but for quality and materials as well. This set was the Pinnacle for Yamaha Irons.

Now that's how you do it. I can see why those wedges stayed as they just flat out perform. and that bag..... could be my favorite bag of all time as of this moment! Well done and enjoy.

725's?? Don't know. 745's are Endo forged. What company owns their own foundry? I'd be willing to bet the answer is none.

I put the recoil proto's in my 302's a few months back and they went from my #1 set to the dungeon. Horrible. I pulled them and passed them (recoils) on.

A sole plate. Never thought I'd see another one after the wood drivers disappeared.
