February 27, 200519 yr Wow! Those are some very interesting products indeed! I personally like the Oddysey knock-offs. Way better looking than the Cally products IMO. Also, do you know how the insert is put into the putters? Is it a true floating face or just embedded. Thanks again Chris!!!! God Bless Jer

Also, do you know how the insert is put into the putters? Is it a true floating face or just embedded. Thanks again Chris!!!! God Bless Jer I dont know where you see a floating face on any of these putters? But this may answer your question... Wow! now those are some sweet irons, and the DI looks pretty solid as well. Release date? Pricing? Now what to go with gauge, or mizuno? Release is Mid March, Im not sure exactly the price on these should be around 200.00's the stock shaft options are endless. I suggest the UT-85 by graphite design. different prices for different shafts.
February 27, 200519 yr Great pics Chris! What was your impression of the Gauge CB's? I have been patiently awaiting the release.
February 28, 200519 yr Chris I see the different colored inserts, I imagine they offer different levels of firmness? Please let us know when we can place an order with you. Thanks for the great pics..... Jay

February 28, 200519 yr what face is this of? This is the NEW 2005 4th Aniversary Forged CNC Milled Wedge by Gauge Japan. thanks. Man the inticicies and details of the milling marks is unvbelievable
February 28, 200519 yr Author There is also a new GAS1 Forged Wedge that features the bottom 4 score lines CNC milled deep and sharp, that one actually put more spin on the ball for me than the 4th Anniversary did. I haven't come to a personal verdict yet about milling marks on wedges & Irons. They feel soft at impact and provide a lot of spin, they chew up balls though and make bump and runs difficult to judge. On Irons they effect the amount of roll IMO. I personally prefer no milling marks on the faces of my wedges, I'm still not sure if this is just a trend or not. I also learned about putter distance, some putters are longer than others and gauge is claiming to have extremely long putters this year. basically the ball will go further with a shorter stroke.
February 28, 200519 yr Author Chris, wasn't there suppose to be another cb? The proto was not ready for production by the time of the Fair. Check out this pic i snagged for you guys, Its just the basic mold of one, i hear it will be more rounded than this for sure with milling marks and a medallion inside the cavity area. This proto not even made of steel its some kind of plastic.
February 28, 200519 yr Do they have an eta of those? What player profile will they have?Do you have an idea of what the other cb's will cost?
February 28, 200519 yr Is it my imagination? But looking at that picture reminds me of the Hiro's. Same here.
February 28, 200519 yr Chri, The putter I was refering to were the Anser styles with the black and red inserts. What is the difference with the insert materials? Are the weights different in the heel and toe? Thanks, Jay
