Thx Mr.Zodia! As always killer posts you are one of our greatest!

Here is the skinny on the new product!

051020-2.jpg051020-1.jpg

The new Tourstage X-Blade CB features a new inner Ti (titanium) composite within the #2 thru #7 Irons. It has a more player profile with thinner topline, less offset and a more rounded sole. Made of 1020 soft forged steel. Currently Japanese mags say Maru is testing this along side the X-Drive 435 which he claims to give better directional stability than the 405 model. The new X-blade is sheduled to be released December 16th with the new driver at side. The top Japanese players Naomichi Ozaki, Katsumasa Miyamoto, and Kiyoshi Miyasato have also put this deadly combo into the bag.

The rumor was that these new XCBs were the MR-23CB's even Golf Today hinted this. I guess we were all wrong which leads us to the question will there even be a new MR-23?

On a Graphite Design side note the new Tour AD PT-6, PT-7 and PT-8 will be shaft options in the XD435. This shaft is supposed to go head to head against the Diamana

Hey plus,

I know the insert is either titanium or a titanium composite. I'm thinking it is designed to move weight around and give more cavity-like forgiveness and blade like appearance without sounding hollow (think mizuno fli-hi). This is pretty much the same construction of the current TS X-Blade. It looks to me like it raises the COG which should definitely bring down and create a more boring trajectory.

As for the production place, I think the only clubs being assembled in China are the ViQ irons and maybe woods--but I'm sure someone will chime in before I can verify that (I have some of the catologs at home--currently at work).

X-Drive 435 looks very nice - face seems real deep. Is it just the pictures or is there really a red hue to the finish on the clubs's sole?

X-Blade CB2s really just look like ViQs. Haven't looked closely on the website but at first glance that's how they appear.

My W505 is starting to work out really really well so I have to think twice about another driver. Still might order one as Tourstage is very easy to resell in the event it doesn't work out. Have to try the GD PT shafts but their torque rating is slightly higher than the M series or Diamanas.

What I'm looking for from Tourstage is a revised Airmuscle!

Fyi, there's also a new Tour bag and a whole range of gloves. TS gloves are awesome.

Chris, have you hit the new X-Blade CB II's and if so how do they compare to the original CB's?  My CB's are the best clubs I have ever had for my game, so I am interested.

Thanks,

Bert-B

Sorry I have not hit them, but I am putting my order in for the new XCB and X435 this monday. Will they beat the NC-1's or MB2's? I seriously doubt it but if it does I will be one happy man, Im looking for a new set but it MUST earn its spot.

I'm still lovin' the original X CBs and they are still my gamers, but thoses 2s are lookin' better and better

Chris (or anyone else)  I mentioned earlier that the X CB2s look a lot like the VIQ forged. How do the two differ?

I really cant say until I hit these. They look like the ViQ's in concept only but im sure they are much much different. The difference IMO would be a thinner topline, less offset, thinner sole and less bulk in the top back portion.

i guess the new xdrive is maroon colored.

Only the rear portion is maroon, it is similar to the 2004 XD365 that had this same color accents on its sole.
