May 5, 200618 yr comment_119978 I am looking to purchase wedges that have the most spin. Wedges have to be legal. Any thoughts? My Bettinardi wedges produce a lot of spin. These are sold out at the factory, however you might be able to purchase these from Ebay. My Gauge Design GAS1 wedge also produces lots of spin, however from what I understand the bottom 5 grooves are illegal (but good fun)!
May 6, 200618 yr comment_120025 my maru specs are deadly - take the skin of range balls :/ And destroy my bridgestone b330s (literally dead after a full wedge shot - its wrong!)
May 10, 200618 yr comment_120128 zodia wedges can jizz em back. I agree!!! Zodia wedges will put the brakes on!!!! :tsg_smilie_cool: :atsg_smilie_betty2:
May 10, 200618 yr comment_120139 :atsg_smilie_fourteen: Check out Fourteen wedges. Most spin I've ever had on a wedge... :tsg_smilie_cool: Stops on a dime and even sucks the ball back on fuller shots...
May 11, 200618 yr comment_120169 Another ringing endorsement for Zodia wedges- the best wedges in the world (at least for me!), and the spinningest Jessies you can find. Forget release, hammer it back there with spin. One skip and done.
May 11, 200618 yr comment_120204 I have a Bettinardi wedge but would like to try out a Zodiac wedge. Can you tell me how to find one? I am from the Mouse House, Orlando, Florida

May 16, 200618 yr comment_120420 the most bite IMO: . GAS1 Forged w/5 lower illigal sharp grooves ( discontinued ) . X-Wedge limited & Maru Limited wedges with CNC grooves . GAS1 SQBT . Crews Milled . Titleist Spin Milled
May 24, 200618 yr comment_120696 The Spin Milled ones are nice for that. They feel super crisp and fly like a dream. I'd reccomend them to anyone who doesn't mind ruining a few balls, these wedges bite the ball with some really sharp teeth. Plus, the oil can finish that's new in them looks really good.
May 24, 200618 yr comment_120700 Get "tour grooves" done on the wedge you like the most. I have "tour grooves" on my Cally Forged wedges (tour issue) they have gotten me out of a lot of tight spots.
May 28, 200618 yr comment_120826 I can vouch for the Gauge Design GAS1 SQBT's. I have a 53 and 58 I got from Chris, and they really check up well. I'm having to re-learn how close to the pin to throw a pitch or chip shot because if I'm not careful, it comes up short. It's just a matter of learning how much more spin I get than other wedges I've used. But as I continue to learn to use them, I like them more and more. They really gives me a lot more control and options with my shots around the green.
May 28, 200618 yr comment_120829 Well I may be biased being a Taylormade Staffer, but the new TP Black Wedges are wedges that I'd put up amongst the top spinning wedges. The new Y-Cutter grooves that are on these wedges, as well as the Japanese Satin TP Wedges produce a large amount of spin.
May 30, 200618 yr comment_120886 I'd have to go with Fourteen MT-28 V2. These wedges can do anything. Stop and drop, spin 'em back, whatever you wish. Ball shreders though. It shreds balls even when your chipping. My pro v1 last 3 holes.
May 30, 200618 yr comment_120887 I must add another to the list. The nwe G-Field GFT-SW. Its the only wedge on the market with a brushed satin head with a RAW face and not to mention CNC milled deep legal square grooves and face.
June 14, 200618 yr comment_121363 Hands down, the most spin on any wedge will cost you about $150. Get a chrome Callaway X-tour wedge with the mack daddy grooves and have the chrome stripped. That wedge produces more spin than anything you will find, tour or non!!!
June 21, 200618 yr comment_121587 get your favorite looking wedge, with right loft, bounce etc. and send them to the iron factory out in colorado. they will refinish and regroove for about $30 a club. so, you could buy the most beatup wedge you could find on ebay, no face left, and have it better than new for $30
