Seeing a few pics of the Nowon No. 1 Grips on wedges.

Anyone has any reviews they would like to share?

Thanks!

No.1 is an extremely tacky grip and feels really good, cant really compare it to any other grip on the market.

how are these compared to the iomics?

these are a lot more tackier than iomics. I prefer the feel of these over iomics.

thanks, the color combos look cooler too. il the red ones for my irons when my new grips get worn

a lot softer than the iomics...the newer black/white, silver/lavender?, and another color combo that escapes me is a little firmer and sturdier than the original no1 grips. great feel but sand does stick to it due to its tackiness. a lot of chikaras come out of par 72 with these grips.

great looking grip but if you dont like sticky grips i wouldn't suggest them. Do not drop them in the sand!

I, for one, would like to know where one could buy these No. 1 grips. Any ONE?

Look into the pro shop or Japan.

Never dawned on me to look in the shop. Grips sure do look tacky.

The have a new series coming out too, slightly lighter weight and narrower for slender hands or ladies. They have Tadd up on their site right now sporting the green 50 series.

the ones out now are 50 series, which is 50grams.

they have the 48 series just released with a ton of new colours(silver looks awesome) and they are 48grams

I put one on my Rapture driver and am very impressed with the feel and tackiness. I can understand Chris's comment about not dropping this grip in the sand though. I'm going to play several more rounds with it, but expect to be adding this grips to my irons and wedges soon.

I'm a big fan of Iomic so i had to give these a try. Had a bunch arrive today. Gonna stick some on all my clubs!

These grips are too cool - how do they feel compared to the iomics??

I got one of these on a Chikara I got - they are amazing.....

I need more for my other clubs.....

So here is my question for you guys....I know the Pro Shop has these, but looks like the red is not available.

So what are all the color options?

And is there anywhere else we can get these from?

Thanks!

Give me a couple of hours... I'm updating the pro shop and the 48 series colors will be there...

Awesome...thank you Gocchin!

I love the colors but my experience with yellow grips did not go very well. After one round they were filthy!! It wasn't from my paws, either. Taking them in and out of the bag would leave rubber marks on them from rubbing against other clubs. These grips (Golf Pride DD2) had black grip caps and that may have been the reason. Maybe all one color would be different?

Anyone else have a problem with this?

For now it's back to my beloved Crossline Blacks for $2.49 a piece.

It seems these grips will get dirty just like Iomics.

The problem stems from dirty bag bottoms and crap falling off your irons/wedges after hitting your shots.

My solution with Iomics or tacky nice colored grips:

1) I always cleaneach of my clubs by scrubbing the dirt/grass stains off before inserting into my bag.

2) Another problem is that some golf bag bottoms have cheap black rubber than can cause black marks on your grips. The cheap solution to this is to stuff an old shirt at the bottom of the bag so once your clubs slide into the bag, then are sitting on the shirt/old rag.

3) If you dont want to do # 2 above, keep all grips are from the same company or similar.

I just do # 1 & 3 and my Iomics are nice and clean.

Backspin9, where can you get crossline blacks for 2.50?

can someone justify for me spending $15-20 on iomics versus $6 on Multicompounds, $4 on crosslines, or $2 on tour velvets?

is there that much of a difference. I have an iomic on a hybrid, though I love the spicy color and tackyness, I don't know if it's really worth the $20.

Perhaps it'll be easier once I start gripping softer so grips last longer.
