September 5, 200717 yr comment_140616 I like the new logo way better I like the 301's and will try im sure but the 701 look real nice but there's is probally to much face progression. How is the face progression on the 701's Chris? if its anything like the X its to much for me but wow!!! they look rel interesting.
September 5, 200717 yr comment_140633 I think the new iron designs are much more "today" than the old. Driver looks a bit blingy though. Must say I'm looking forward to seeing how the new wedges look when they are released. Wonder if they'll still do a copper set?
September 5, 200717 yr comment_140634 Chris won't allow me to post in here anymore...... But I couldn't resist to make a post.....and I'm still a lurker in here. This new Epon AF-301 iron from Epon looks AMAZING. It's the best designed iron head I've ever seen. I love everything about it - even if I will have to make a trip to Japan to get custom fitted for it, it will be worthwhile. Only one iron head on the planet currently looks just close to this in greatness from a designers point of view - Miura Cb-202. Epon has done it - made an iron head with a more contemporary & modern graphics and logo, removed the medallion in the cavity and they really should start selling the Epon brand in the US and Europe. No matter if they will charge $1.250 a set, this will be a monster big seller among forged iron enthusiasts all over the entire planet. YOU CAN'T PRODUCE A BETTER LOOKING CLUB HEAD - IT'S NOT POSSIBLE ! I will rate the design of this iron head 11/10 - YES! you can't produce a better looking players cavity back iron head - it's not possible. The AF-301 will be an instant classic among forged iron heads in the world. Square looking face, small offset, satin finish, nice ferrule, thin sole, thin top line - SMASHING DESIGN ! Sorry, I just had to make this post.....hope it will not be deleted !
September 5, 200717 yr comment_140637 I like the new logo, it's definitely different from the old one which I didn't mind as well but there were those who always wondered, what is a "Technity"?? (^_^) As Claus said the 301's look like they setup so wonderfully at address. Just so clean. My choice of iron though will be the AF-701. I just love the look and cannot wait to hit them.
September 5, 200717 yr comment_140641 new logo rocks - looks more substantial than the old and is much better than the stuck on badge!!!!!!!! Edited September 5, 200717 yr by plus1

September 6, 200717 yr Author comment_140761 The New AF701 is made of High Precision Forged S20C from Japan, The face is a High Strength Asroll Stainless material with an HRB80 body temper and NiCr20 Finish. The AF701 is designed for the golfer who wants maximum distance and forgiveness, its face actually has a C.O.R rating of over 0.8. The surplus weight of its thin face is redistributed to the heel and toe for a wider sweet spot hitting area. Tungsten weight alloy has been added to further lower the C.O.G
September 6, 200717 yr comment_140764 wow, I really like the AF-701's, they look nice. They look like a chubby little iron head, still nice. can't wait for some reviews and comparisons to last year's offerings.

September 6, 200717 yr comment_140776 I seem to recall that the old Epon FW is forged Titanium vs stainless this time or am I just confused as always?
September 7, 200717 yr comment_140788 Chris, When can we get a comparison between the old and new 460 drivers? what are the main differences? thank you

September 7, 200717 yr comment_140834 I'm very curious to see what kind of putters they come out with. They've done great things with their previous lines of clubs, just wondering if the putters will be something special.
September 7, 200717 yr comment_140836 Can you imagine B, putters forged by Endo?? How soft would that be??? (^_^)
September 7, 200717 yr comment_140843 i wish they made blades.... but in the meantime i will be getting a set of AF-301 with Black Golds. looking forward to try them.....
September 7, 200717 yr Author comment_140845 Introducing the new Epon 207KGX Wedge, a high precision wedge forged from soft S20C steel. Some new changes with this model include close to right angle grooves for super back spin, larger hosel dimensions help distribute weight higher to produce a higher Center of Gravity which is moved more towards the heel. The results include lower trajectory, more spin and overall improved playbility!
