Mjr. D
I like it! What's with the carbon fiber thing near the grip? I don't understand.
Slice1969
Hi Chris, what playing characteristics have you found in this putter? How deos it compare to other GFs? What about availability and price. Very interested. Club looks clean and solid. Reminds me a lot of the SC Tiger Woods putter head. thanks
777
the CF you see is part of the UST Frequency Filtered Putter Shaft
Goshinboku
Chris, that is awesome, I saw it on the GF website on the weekend. How do the SS feel compared to the private stocks'?
gocchin
In Japan it's actually the Mamiya Op FF shaft (^_^). For those wanting extra feel. Awesome C, simply awesome!

jacksonlui
i have a UST freq filter shaft and I agree with many others that it takes away feel. it makes it feel hollow. it didn't help me putt better but looks cool! it makes the putting sound tinny. K2_2
I can`t say much about the shaft as I haven`t tried it, but the putter looks tight!

That's too bad as the FF shafts are supposed to amplify touch and feel. That's their original purpose. My only complaint is that they are light.... http://www.ustgolfshaft.com/shaft_models/model.aspx?id=
+TourSpecGolfer
I had 2 of these made guys and one is for sale. The FF shaft seems to make the head feel heavy. This putter has a 365-370 gram head as is already. I also requested deep milling marks. As for performance I have only had practice putting and 1 round but I haven't noticed a tin feeling. Seems muted and soft with this head. Just drop me a pm guy's if your interested in the backup copy of this putter.
jacksonlui
some people like the feel and some don't. i wouldn't doubt the r&d from the Nasa dudes. I have it, didn't do much for me, but I don't dislike it, so it will stay.
ClubHoUno
Ohhhhh my - it looks great C Only thing is that it lacks a site line - I have to have a site line on my putter. The sole has the same shape as the Scotty Studio putters......it bends towards the ends. It's an ace this putter ! I just got my Bettinardi BB8 1. art. DASS steel with FIT face. It's an absolute beauty - never seen a better made putter in my life This one from Gold's factory however looks smashing too, C - I might have to order one for the Spring Season 2008 - not hard to tell this putter is about HIGH quality and perfect craftsmanship too Edited October 18, 2007 by Claus
