X-Blade 703 Forged

TheTourStage X-Blade 703 Iron looks to be a real contender in the forged player's CB arena coming in 2010.

Always around this time of year in the end of summer/fall release we can usually catch a glimpse of whats to come around February - March of the following year. In this case it's first look at the Tourstage X-Blade 703 Forged Irons.

The TourStage 703 Forged CB doesn't have official specifications noted yet but It is safe to assume their flagship X-BLADE series would be made of soft S20C and forged at Endo ( we can only guess ). The craftsmanship and design would appear to be at that high a level also.

A clean and modern shape with some major updates like a cut away sole areas deep cavity and full perimeter weighting.

X-Drive 703

TourStage will be releasing its X-Drive 703 driver which appears to be a more forgiving and fine tuned version of the previous model.

The weighting screw is still not available to the publicbut I'm sure pro support has a blast adjusting head weights with that method. If it's forgiving enough it will be a hit as TourStage always brings it with their launch, ball speeds, and usually feel. I am looking forward to hitting all their new products soon.

We dont have exact release dates yet but will keep you updated also we should be getting an advance set in for pics and testing.

well they've definitely improved the looks of the x-drive sole, and going by previous offerings I'm sure it'll be solid.... so put me down for one.

The iron however, doesn't really look like an x-blade, looks a little busy.... I guess it's just the back but I'll keep an open mind and look for more pics.

Let us know ASAP when they will be released..... :tsg_smilie_surprise::atsg_smilie_gd:

The waffle back is straight out of Nike's V for Victory or whatever they call it.... but I'll reserve judgement 'til I see some more pics.....

are there any out there?

You are correct as TS used the waffle (covered the whole cavity) at least 10 years ago before the X series (?) in one of their irons. I am surprised that they are bring back the design.

when will the irons be available on TSG?

No release date yet, these are actually pics of early tour prototypes.

As soon as they are available to us or Japan TSG will make them available to you.
