My inpres X 3w!

Can't believe this! Arrived in a rush/late at the 1st tee. Took my 3w out, hit it fat, wiped it without looking, a couple of holes later I pulled it out again and saw this!! One deep scratch and a couple of scratches, as well as face scratches and sky marks! One shot of the tee! I've had sky marks before, but never ever anything like this happen to me. I guess when i hit it fat something got between the ball and the club...but still. Talk about fragile. I absolutely adored this club. Max 12 rounds with it. Grrr

Black sharpie. Its a golf club they are meant to beat a ball and contact turf, though I understand the dismay...

Thanks fellas. Best way to ruin an afternoon, spoil your current favorite club. Quadra and Yamaha make an impressive combo. Absolutely love it. If it was my driver I wouldn't have minded so much.

I have a master Club Refinisher that I use here at the Divot Doctor's Place. He can turn it around pretty fast....finish will be like new. PM me if interested and I will be glad to handle for you.

so this is what you were talking about Jay!

all my woods look like that hehe! i put black tape

on my crowns to protect em.

seems like a normal skymark to me. dont need anything

to cause a gouge like that unless you were coming in real steep

Is this the head I now have? You must have put a right sh*t swing on it! Hahahahaha. I haven't done anything to it to cover it up. Left it with the 'battle scar'. The mark of a true golf club :)

I know what you mean Carlo, and I can understand where Jay is coming from. I too would feel the same if I'd bought the head brand new.

That's the one! Still performed though. In fact, once it's scared you stop worrying about it. For a 3W, not such a bad thing.

And yes, it was a bad swing. Showed up at the tee late, one practice swing...tee'd off...oops, skied it, sandy undersoil...grrr (i think one single tear came dripping down)

How's it working for you Ian? It's probably the club I regret selling the most. Bought the same head one month later.

so how was your round after that? i skied a brand new pristine egg on the 6th hole. kept thinking about it the rest of the round.

it is liberating though how one scar will eventually release us from being too attached to our gear. bet you sold it bec of the scar haha im the same
