I wanted to stick with the Hawaiian theme and my buddy came through big time with this and got it to me today before our charity scramble. I had to take a few crappy pics just post up but the pearl paint really pops in person!

That looks awesome! I've thought about doing that to one of my drivers but don't have anybody to do it. May put one of those sticker things on one of them that has some scuffs on the crown.

Thanks guys! I gave him a couple of ideas as to what I wanted but left him with a green light on his artistic expression. It was a total surprise and I was fully satisfied with the outcome. Next up will be my hybrid and then 5w!

Amazing! Apparently the honeymoon phase works with new paint jobs just as well as it does with entirely new clubs. I was absolutely killing this thing today. All GPS measured, most over 300yds, two over 330, and this bomb...

Awesome!!! What a unique head you've got, I wish I can find someone who can do that for me too.

Jeez Mikey, two drives OVER 350! Awesome.

I should add the disclaimer that we have pretty hard fairways out here so 30+ yards of roll is normal this time if year. Still gotta hit 'em straight though...

Tokidoki, my buddy can do it for you. customgolfclubpainting.com

Wow, 376!!

I need that paintjob on my driver!:-)

I had a head painted by him earlier this year. His work is top notch!! I mean "Perfect" quality and worksmanship.

Now I'm glad you were headed out of town when I invited you to play with me and son at TPC Scottsdale a few months back.

I hate being out driven by 100 yards!!!

Lol! I wish these silly drives happened more often but thankfully when they do I have witnesses and gps because I wouldn't believe me either!! One thing for sure is that 550yd par 5's are pretty easy when you only have a 7 or 8 iron in! Now I need to figure out my next paint job for the time when this honeymoon phase wears off!

I think the paintjob looks amazing and extremely well done, but I get the feeling it would distract the hell outta me looking down at it.

One thing I've realized after playing several custom painted clubs is that after the first swing I never notice the paint job at address again. My focus is on the ball and set-up so there's no distractions at all. I guess I could see where others may feel differently...

Sorry, don't like the look or the feel of that head. To each his own.

Don't be sorry. Although I grew to accept and later kinda appreciate it, I'm still not a huge fan of the feel either. If there was anything that could match the 435's distance and felt better I'd be playing it!

there isnt..................

i gotta get one done

No, there isn't! A guy from our 4some asked to hit it on our last hole to compare it to his new TM driver. He hit two solid drives right down the center...but the 435 was over 30yds longer. I'm sure there's more to the results but it was what it was. The 435 is simply the king of distance!

You do need to get one done! Let me know if you need his contact info again. ;)

30 yards is quite a bit of distance gain.....i actually lost about 25 yards when i had the 435R, the 435 II was not too bad but it was still about 10 yards shorter than my Taylormade R11 dot ( 420cc head ). I would probably pay 10k for a driver that would go 30 yards further than my Taylormade R11 dot, provided the distance gain was legal.

*In retrospect however i never gave the Jbeam and crazy heads much of a tryout because they felt horrible and were not forgiving enough for me. The opposite held true for the P-Tune, the head looks great and the feel and sound is perfect. When I first got the P-Tune, it hit nothing but low hooks and even my good shots went nowhere. However because the club felt so good, i stuck with it and learned how to hit the darn club. Now it is my carry monster and about 5 yards longer than my R11 dot.

Those are impressive drives. Especially via GPS which i find always shortchange me on distance. How fast is your swing speed ???

I'm not sure what my swing speed is nowadays. The last time I was measured was 105mph but my playing partners say that can't be right and estimate 112ish by my swing and distances. So I honestly don't know...

105-112 and u get those distances.......i better keep an eye out for the JBeam 435 !!!!!

There are other things that attribute to my distances beyond my ss. I play my finished length to 47", my swing weights are in the F range, and I play a flex that's technically way too soft for me. Add that to hard fairways and I get yardages that don't seem possible based on ss alone. In the 435's defense, all my drivers are built this way so it's still a stand out among the crowd.
