viperact
Question 1: What is the best feeling iron you ever hit? Question 2: What is the longest iron you ever hit? Question 3: What is the best combination of both you ever hit? I got the epon personals earlier this year, but I revert back to epon technity J's... Those epons feels so good, I'm having a hard time finding an alternative for it. I'm thinking Yururis, but I heard it has no distance. What are your take on it, guys? Vegaman
Not JDM, but the longest would be the Bridgestone J38s I gamed a few years ago. They also felt pretty good. Best feeling (on center hits!) so far would be my VEGA/Kyoei blades, and they are ok for length too. The best combo for me is the Callaway Legacy Black that I have gamed the past 4-5 months, the 2012 "Stenson Model". (And no, I didn't get them because of Stenson or at the recent close out). They feel very soft and delivers really good distance too. Edited December 16, 2013 by Vegaman
lousifers
So you' finally get the set. Let me know when you're in BKK. Wanna play or just a range session with you. For me the best feeling goes to Epon 302, Personal and Yammie Tour13 not far behind Best distance for me was XXIO7 Mark Not JDM, but the longest would be the Bridgestone J38s I gamed a few years ago. chiromikey
1. Purest feeling: Yururi Flatbacks/KBS C-Tapers 1a. Softest Feeling: Epon 302s/UST Recoil Protos 1b. The most special feeling: Epon Personals/Nippon SP Blues 2. I have all my sets lofted to the same specs and I can't say there's more than a couple yards difference between them but the graphite shafted 302s may have a couple yards over the steel sets. 3. Yururis

Ian-500
Question 1: What is the best feeling iron you ever hit? Yamaha 2011 Tour Model with Quadra 100i 's' Question 2: What is the longest iron you ever hit? Yamaha 2011 Tour Model with Quadra 100i 's' Question 3: What is the best combination of both you ever hit? Yamaha 2011 Tour Model with Quadra 100i 's' I sold these last year which I regretted ever since, but fortunately I've managed to get hold of the 2010 tour Model and installed my favourite Quadra 100i 's' which I've tipped 1/2". Miuramaniac
1. Miura 1957 small blade. By far the most solid iron IMO. 1b. Yururi proto. Best combo of soft and solid. 2. Epon 702. Cannons, but way too clicky. Rocketbladez are actually longer but not JDM. 3. Miura small blade. Incredible ball speed off those little things, just a bit demanding. viperact
I tried all epons after the technity. So far, nothing has come close to taking it off my #1. Miura are nice. Gotta love how they feel when hitting it on the sweet spot. I'm getting mixed answers about yamaha distances, though more towards longer. But yammies feels weird to me for some reason, but I know a lot of people love them. Maybe I tried a model that's not right for me. What yammies you guys are gaming? Mostly tour models? I believe I've never tried the tour models.
akapur
Longest this year for me was the Kamui 101's with Monaco's Best Feeling irons were the Ramaro V R type with Tour AD shafts Still gaming the Kamui's as they are just great. mygreenaliem
I have had Miuras, Yam and Epon. By far the best though are my Crazy Ltd MB - answer all three of your questions hands down. These are married to crazy target tour 120 X. How I mourn for the loss of crazy..... I just so glad I bought another set of heads (thanks spoon) and another set of shafts (thanks T!).
daamartin
Best all round: PRGR TR Speed blades with original rifle fcm 6.0 Plenty long enough & very forgiving for a blade. Never felt impact like it. Perfect balance of mushy and crisp! The grind on PRGR irons also just suits a digger like me.

Craig
Best feeling. miurism SB01 with Shimadas. daylight second Longest. Like chiro mine are all lofted to the same specs. Dont really notice much difference in the heads. Shafts yes but not the heads. Best overall combo Epon AF 302. IMO, just about the best overall head out there. driverhead
1. Fourteen TC 530 - best feeling 2. The absolute by far longest irons Ive ever hit were the MACGREGOR NVG2 MIDS. with the quadra action graphite shaft. I hit a 200 yard par 3 with a 6 iron. I got almost 2 clubs more with each iron and never carried more than a 6. The heads were hollowed out with titanium face inserts. The Fourteen TC 330s are close and a better design for overall control and distance. 3. Best overall - Titleist AP1 714 - great feel and turf interaction, short irons deadly on full shots and chipping, 4 5 6 7 almost hybrid like in ease of use. supo
Longest .... Kamui 101 things are so jacked44* pw sheeeeeesh, they are also very close to best all round but just a bit too strong lofted Feeling.......well any epon really , the502 are just rediculous but i gotta say the yururi flatback raw heads were just amazing . Combo.....Well i wud say the epon af tours but they dont go real long and as. Uasked for feel nad distance Igotta say the prgr idbl with modus130 take some equalling 46* pw loft so u will get the distance. Uneed but they also feel fantastic The tr500 pip them for feel but the idlbl have a better shape Zero........ I mean zero Off set , these are truely THE best cavity blade ive ever come accross but a long way. I have a hard time putting anything else in m y bag the modus130 have a lot to do with it. As well they play awsome in the wind and. When its benign u can do anything. U like with them Yup prgr idbl . For my buck
