supo
been jigging back and forth between all my fave shafts recently, apart form a cpl of ubber schlokken tour mumblers that arnt availble to humanity. ive been going back and fwd in my mind about the best. at the moment i find it hard to go past the diamana blue (new model) but a cpl of older ones ive got in older fwd are making a huge impact. for instance the diamana alisilei which MIGHT be the most unused, unloved diamana shaft of all time. in my RC 17* 4w is just impossible not to love, there isnt a smoother shaft out there, its a magnificent fwd shaft absolutely no thing hard about it at all, moveable, but tight when neded. love this thing and the other day at seven dreamers i got to look at shingo katayamas driver, d hes gone back to .wait for it, the GD pt 6x. that was prob the most popular fwd shaft in play in japan about 5 years ago. must be somehting good as shingos playing it in hid fourteen driver now! i rememebr hitting that in the RC p304 heads and it was superb, i have NO idea why i swapped thsoe out. but........... i find my self clamouring for the quadra fire express again, and not the fw shaft, the driver shaft tipped and cut that thing is the slingshot of slingshots thoughts? Spoon
fujikura P95 rombax. have tried them all and this is my favorite by far. BUT i have to be playing well which i am as of the moment. quite heavy but keeps my tempo in check. loving it so far. 2nd would most likely be a GD 9003 or P9003. those are smooth as hell

Mob
Crazy FW 80 shaft. Love this thing. I have a Quadra Fire Express Max WBQ that has been sitting in my office waiting for a year for the right head to come along. I am thing about putting it in a SLDR, but I hate to give Taylor Made any of my money.

languidcrane
For me in no particular order Fujikura Rombax 80b x Kai'li 80 x - which leads me to believe I will really like new Diamana B although I haven't tried it yet. GD p9003x
tomcat
Diamana Stinger will stay on top for a while for me. Z9003 in second position

Miuramaniac
Graphite Design MD7 is better than any shaft listed on here IMO. More money and later year does not mean better. Best FW shaft period. Edited July 24, 2014 by Miuramaniac
supo
the old faithful, yea this was a hell of a shaft , was in thousands of clubs in JP a few yrs back origiannly a driver shaft it became a massive fav of the pros in FWD, and then it found its way into every makers upgrade shaft option. agree whole heartedly ,the md7 and for that matter the pt are great FW shafts
shacco
Funny enough my favorite FW shaft is the Crazy LY02. Although it is a light long drive spec shaft for some reason it works better in the FW for me at least. Perfect piercing trajectory and superb feel. Much better than in the driver for me. sbeaz
TRPX X-line heavy. Like shacco said, driver shaft that played good in a driver has been unreal in fairway wood.
Mob
So I am trying to decide on a new fairway shaft. I am waffling between getting another Crazy FW80, which I know performs well for me, or a Quadra Fire Express 75SX fwy shaft. I like the Quadra Max WBQ that I have in my driver, and leaning that way for a fwy experiment. Anyone play both in fwy wood and can compare?
