mr.haha
I just placed an order for the driving iron. It'll be my first and I can't wait
Golfbaka
Really enjoying the 20.5 driving iron. The feeling is not soft like a Mizuno driving iron but the sound is just awesome - a really sold thwack. It's addictive!! I was hitting shots on a grass range this week thinking 'am I making this sound???' Just waiting for some tungsten tip weights so I can get the 25.5 shafted up and in the bag... I hear that the A Design IYA DO-MO Katayama Shingo has completely sold out in the AW and the SW is selling out fast... Was hoping to demo one when I'm in Japan next month... nobmontana
i gotta get that driver head!!!! Comparo to the G30 head.... perfect feel and sound is what I read from the Japanese reviews. I might have to get one just for range use. :) I would also consider shafting it up with a uber heavy shaft ( 80 to 100+ g ) and make it 43.5 " or something. Would probably need go with a higher loft in that case. What's the price on these drivers head only?
supo
so u think a made for a certian pro , diamana kaili 100gram proto wud be a good match?
nobmontana
I think it would be but I would also go for a heavier head like close to 210g Did those Kaili 100g come in Stiff? No way I could swing one in X !!
supo
stiff yes. 44 inch tho is already pretty much the limit i think i cud go , i built a tp burner last week with bimatrix to 44inch its really great for accuracy but its easliy 2 maybe 30 yards shorter than a driver on a normal not quite meaty shot. 43.5 is 3 wood territory, and this head doenst look like its necessarilly a real control head. it looks like it a worker so yea maybe 44-44.5 inch wud be ok. hmmmmmmm been savign this shaft for something special. 604_skyline
Chris, are there two versions of the CB? I was reading on a japanese blog, and they mentioned that for the next run that the CB's might be smaller than the first release? is this true?
