+TourSpecGolfer
So we hear it all the time Japanese clubs are too expensive... We want to make it easier for everyone to experience JDM grinds and forgings, so TSG Club Works is releasing a series of irons dubbed OM#. 10 different models and they are already completed. We are working on the xplainer page now to reveal them all but what we are giving you is: 1. 10 completely different designs all hand ground and forged in Himeji Japan 2. All available with custom finishes, custom stamping & laser engraving, custom builds 3. Unbelievable prices i.e Satin Finished Heads 4-PW = $499 and $650 (7pcs!) These will not be available until the web page is completed, sorry but web/photography isn't quick. We didn't just pick blank heads and decide to sell them, we negotiated for about a year, then we changed all 10 designs grinds ( offset, topline thickness, sole grind, loft, lie, head weight ) so basically this is on par with what some other brands would charge top dollar for. Introducing the OM-1 ( it's super forgiving and very soft )
+TourSpecGolfer
OM-2 Pics Just to put the offset #'s and top line #'s in perspective, some of these have 5.0-5.5FP all the way through the set with a 4mm top line, that's as small as it gets in the muscle back world yet the forgiveness is off the charts. To put the cost into perspective both the OM-1 & OM-2 cost only $650 heads only 4-PW finished in satin, others would stamp a logo on it and charge double. Duffer19
So with this, why would anyone wants to buy those high price JDM like Yoro and Miura and more obscure brands like Modart, A Grind and that sheep brand. : =(
+TourSpecGolfer
great start, can't wait to see the rest! will they all be the same material from the same forging house? About half we get from one place and half another but then we have a particular grinder who understands our preferences work on them. +TourSpecGolfer
So with this, why would anyone wants to buy those high price JDM like Yoro and Miura and more obscure brands like Modart, A Grind and that sheep brand. : =( So from here on out Yoro, Miura, Epon, Modart etc. fans will start buying these instead right? That would be nice but I think pigs will fly before that happens. Geotech has been selling Open model heads for years at affordable prices and this is no different in fact a few of the 10 models you will immediately spot that other brands already use. We are simply taking head designs that are readily available, improving them and offering them at great prices, this is good news!

I'm gonna most likely request JIS S20C, S25C, and SS400.

Craig
Well an interesting idea, maybe. Just concerned it may dumb down the standards. And in all honesty, not for me

+TourSpecGolfer
that price is for totally shafted anyway u like and stamped exactly like u want to ? It's heads only, hand stamping as you would see on most putters or wedges, the engraving is nice but in letters and Japanese characters only, there is a small handful of smiley faces, hearts and skulls to choose from. A custom logo can be done but would require a setup fee and logo provided via high Rez imagery by the client.
theblake
If you wanna do something really cool, dont put numbers on them! Use old fashioned names or some other unique descriptor. that will confuse the bludgers who try to check what club you have selected.
