Posted June 20, 20159 yr comment_242864 You are looking at the Ultimate Honma Tour World Combo Set. Prior to the release of the Honma Tour World TW727 Series TSG planned what would be our dream Honma iron set utilizing everything that Honma's Sakata Factory had to offer and this is what we came up with. This Combo set is 4-PW It is TW727P in only the #4, It is the new TW727Vn #5 thru 7 and 727M #8 - PW. All of the lie angles, loft, swing weight and length are adjusted to flow properly for consistency throughout the set. As you notice the finish is very different this is Honma's Black Nickel Chrome and it's stunning even more so in person this is a durable plating with a soft sticky feel at impact when you hit the MB's center with the Black Nickel it feels like a warm club face hitting a cold dense stick of butter the ball just melts. We requested a custom order only Vizard IB105 which is the heaviest Vizard they make it's 103-105 grams and made of high grade Carbon with an Amorphous metal fiber weaved into the tip section for the best of Carbon with the accuracy of steel. Warning to anyone who considers these softer than steel because they play firm and are obviously for players who want a lower more accurate penetrating trajectory and dispersion. TW727M #8-PW TW727VN #5 - #7 TW727P #4 Below: Top Line Images of MB/CB/CB Below Sole of MB & VN

June 21, 20159 yr comment_242874 Sick and I love combo sets. Get to try a whole line without buying 3 separate sets!
June 21, 20159 yr comment_242882 Gotta say that's one of the best looking and best spec'ed out iron sets I have ever seen. That finish is unreal. And durable too, which is great. The sexiest finishes usually are not, looks great only when brand new. Not this one though. Honma really are up there when it comes to fit and finish. They do produce quite a lot of clubs but they obviously have insane QC at Sakata.
January 9, 20169 yr comment_251548 Hi, I am thinking of buying a combos set of these irons. Are you happy with your set makeup, would you have chosen differently today? Also coming from c-taper stiffs and thinking of going to nippon modus 3. I've tested the nippon stiff and it felt very soft but afraid maybe the 120x would be too much? Thoughts on that?

If I could do it all over again, I would change it up: #4 - P #5-9 - VN #PW - M Not the best for looks but for my game this is what would benefit me.

January 10, 20169 yr comment_251634 Is there any pictures of the soles of the whole sets? Would like to compare sole thickness in 7.8.9.10 iron for the different models

January 10, 20169 yr comment_251647 Do a search in the blog sir. We have photos of all three models. Thanks. Found some photos. Maybe my last question: Is there a difference in finish on the 727 p model vs the other models? P model: Satin finish/Double-layer planting, polished and painted finish(silver) V/Vn/M: Half miroor + Mirror Finish / Double-layer Painting Thank you for your patience!
January 10, 20169 yr Author comment_251648 Thanks. Your welcome, yes P model is a 2 piece head with more focus on distance and forgiveness yet its still a players club with it's shaft options, head weights and overall design just a more forgiving and larger size one. Feel won't be as pure as the other 1 piece forged models and that is why I would only have it in the long iron if you care about that. Also when you do custom black nickel finish on the P, it still has a silver inner cavity while all other models are completely custom black nickel.
January 11, 20169 yr comment_251707 P3Sweden, you should pick up the set Daniel has in the BST. You won't find a better guy to deal with and I (and several others, no doubt) can vouch for his gear; he keeps everything beautiful.
January 11, 20169 yr comment_251711 I'd second that, K. I'll third it. Looks like an awesome combo set. Go on, treat yourself
