Special thx to you on these, Stew -- those are your AG's, but the smoked copper adds a whole other dimension to the feel. Surprising, but I actually like these better than the P2's. They're just as precise, but feedback is smoother to the ear and hands somehow. Just love them. Can't say enough good about Ako-san. (Glad I talked you into letting me have these. < g > Thx, man. )

these look fantastic as well!! I can't really fathom anything feeling better than p2's esp since you had those copperized as well.

when they were both stock, which felt better? wonder if finish changed the feel dramatically for them respectively.

D, in a perfect test, they would both had to have had the same finish. I'd say though that the smoked copper changed the feel more than the satin copper on the P2's. There's something about this process that produces a different effect than all other coppers I've played. I first noticed it when I had that A-Grind wedge done. I keep coming back to Chris's use of the word "sticky. " It's like the difference between the surface of a fresh ball and one that is played. There's a quality of stickiness that just feels cool. Actually it's hot -- the ball jumps off the face, but at the same time it feels like you can control action on it better. Big props to TSGwks for whatever they're doing.
