mauvanilla
Mine just arrived today here in Hong Kong. No pictures sorry as I am in a rush but if all good; hitting the range over the weekend. Just as a preview; it is GORGEOUS ... the finish is just amazing and the shape (mine is 60) is quite interesting it looks small, so it is quite elegant. I have to admit; that I thought my Gold's wedges were nice; well; it has beaten it. Pictures and full review soon! Thanks again C. and TSG! I just received mine here in Massachusetts! heads looked great and i love the translucent blue. no pics yet but will have some up later today once i grip them up. i went with Modus 125 Wedge shafts in all 3 of the heads paired with perfect pro grips. i am playing tomorrow and cant wait to test them out. conditions are relatively soft here so we'll see how the bounce holds up. lousifers
Got mine 56* today and couldn't wait to shaft it with the MCI. I also took photo comparing this model to my double milled 58* below. Thanks Chris and TSG team
chuck4golf
Chris, I did not enter this contest. I think your gesture to expand the winners is exactly why tsg has gained a loyal following. We come here to interact with friends including you about fine golf clubs. It is a pleasure to visit here and be a tiny part of the community. Kudos to you. bngolfer
I got my 60* yesterday, it looks dandy! Although I hang out here way more than on the golf course I can't wait to shaft it up and bring it to the track. The few rounds I play per year tend to be competitive or just before a competition so I will have to hide the grooves from any suspicios onlookers when I spin the ball back 20 ft... Thanks a lot again Chris and TSG! I feel special now ?
Mjr. D
Shafted these up with Shimada wedge shafts and haven't taken them to the range yet so i'll hold off on a formal review but based on my carpet test they are very very good. VERY similar to the Vokey forged in shape, feel, spin, carpet interaction (ha), etc. Thanks again Chris! Are these conforming or non conforming? Waiting for mine also.....
yubin89
I was lucky enough to receive a 56 from Chris and shafted it up with a modus 3 115 shaft. I've tried a lot of wedges before and have never found a wedge that really stuck around for a long time but the Seven wedge may have a real good shot. Versatility: This wedge is stated at 8 degree bounce but it is amazing out of any type of bunker from fluffy to hard compacted wet sand. I never hit better bunker shots with any wedge ranging from Toyos, Miuras, Yamahas, Epons and almost any brand you can think of, I do have a set of Modarts I will be receiving shortly to test out. This wedge is also great out of rough, grooves are non-conforming and I assume that contributes to the extra spin generated out of thick rough. The grind is great on these wedges as well, I can hit any type of wedge shot with this wedge since it is based off the Vokey M grind. Feel: These wedges are ridiculously soft, softer than any endo forged wedge. Sometimes I wish these wedges were a little harder because even mis**ts feel like i hit the sweetspot and I get fooled into thinking I hit a pure shot until I see the result. For feel I would rank these second behind the Toyos, those just have an amazing dense feel on contact, I just couldn't get used to the clunky 58 and never wanted to game that set. Overall this is an amazing wedge, it allows you to play it from any lie or condition and it has a nice soft feel which is a joy to hit. If these wedges were slightly firmer I think they would be perfect for me. I would totally game these wedges.
neova
Built my 52/56/60 set last night - going to pair them up with PX 6.0 Satin / Royal Blue Ferrules / Black Pure Pro grips. I normally play 52/58 so I'll game the 52/60 and save the 56 for a partial set that I use when travelling. Will provide a full review once I played a round with them! lousifers
My feedback on this, I like the feel a lot and don't think it's too soft. Pls don't make later versions harder The grind is so good. Love the way it's designed to let us play it normal or open the face Would be great if there're finish options to choose for free, like satin, soft black, matte black ...for free
+TourSpecGolfer
We can do any finish but you will lose the blast art logo over the text by doing so.
