I will try to measure over the weekend, I am playing a Member/Guest this weekend and my clubs are at the course. They are shallowish, about the size of a golf ball, super forgiving. i bought mine from RI Duffer. He now plays the ibrid I think and On Off utes. The 18* is 3 wd long, off the tee I can get it out 250! Can't believe it really. It is Super Hot. If they made a 15* I might get rid of the driver completely... Measurements are 35MM face height depth is 62
  2. I got them Monday. Put them in play on Tuesday and again today (thursday). I have played the Titleist VG3's since 2010 and love the VG3's and won't be selling them anytime soon. That said, the Romaro R type V's are excellent. Almost as forgiving as the VG3's, but feel is better, the feel very pure on most hits, and provide more feedback when not struck well. With the VG3's it is sometimes difficult to feel where you missed it when you miss it. The RomoRo's have a little narrower sole which in my opinion makes turf interaction better with the RomaRo's and they are better from the rough.. The top line of the RomaRo is also a tad thinner which gives a better visual for the better golfer. The RomaRo's are long, i even had mine custom built through TSG 2 degrees weaker, to play 46 off the PW and they still are every bit as long as the stronger lofted VG3's. I have played numerous JDM clubs. MR23, Srixon 404, Miura 301 and 501, Taylor Made's, Maruman, On Off 247 and On Off Plus' and for me the top of the heap are the RomaRo and the original VG3's. The RomaRo's are good from probably a 5 to an 18 index easy. In summary, the RomaRo's feel great, offer plenty of forgiveness, are long and have a thin top line. I would say the are between regular and mid size in appearance which adds to confidence without any clunkiness in appearance. They are so easy to hit I plan to add a 4 iron to my set. Also, the RomaRo woods and Hybrids are outstanding. I could play 3wd and 18* hybrid and take out the driver, the titanium cup face makes them that long and forgiving. I am not playing particularly well at the moment so this is not a honeymoon endorsement. I am long and in the fairway, the irons are on spot, but my wedge play STINKS! Feel free to PM me or ask questions on the RomaRo here and I will answer!

You want the face height of the UT? I have the 18* and 24*, very similar in height to the Adams Hybrids. Super Hot with the Ti face. I could probably drop the 3W and just bring the 18* hybrid.
  4. Ian-500 is Another Forum Member who said he is looking for a wedge.
  5. I agree with Cowboy I just put the new Romaro FW type R in the bag. I am done looking at 3wds. Their Utilities are top too. Titanium cup face technology is the way to go.
  6. Steve- I agree with you. In the end the Aerotech Players spec is less money than recoils. They Aerotechs work well no question R flex and hard stepping as necessary. If Snedeker and Kuchar play them how can anyone really question it.
  7. Stew- Aerotech steelfibers. easier on the old joints. Regular flex, probably 110 weight. Their regular is closer to stiff based on the swing speed charts.
  8. Thanks Stew! However X and me don't get along. xtra stiff xtra hot xtra long xtra large all bad....
  9. Old classic, had 3 sets of these. My first JDM iron set. Thinking of getting them back in the stable. I can't remember but I think these are 355 taper vs 370. Anyone know? Thanks....
  10. what shaft diameter do these need?
  11. Ryoma's last shaft was specifically made for them. The Tour AD in the SYard T388 is also specifically made for them. I am confident it is simply a different color scheme of an existing Tour AD shaft though....
  12. I think you did get the Z101's as well from me. They were supposed to be an upgrade from the MR23's but I think the MR23's were still one of the great JDM CB's.
  13. Barkeepers friend cleans and shines them like a new penny....cheap too
  14. Make Offers on the TM...
  15. Maybe I need to edit and raise the price a little.... Too late SOLD the Egg Spoon Head to Horny Juan...
  16. My prices are always fair.

Really getting down to the last of what I have currently on hand. For Sale is the Egg Spoon Version 2, head only. I plan to have the shaft pulled Saturday and installed in my Cally X Hot Pro 3 wood. THe shaft is Tour Ad DJ 6 SR. Head price is $150 shipped CONUS. You want it together make me an offer I can't refuse. HEAD SOLD HEADED TO CALLI Next up is the last of the great Taylor Made glued drivers. Incredibly long still. 2007 Burner TP with a Reax 65 R shaft 46 inches. $75 Conus. Thanks TSG.
  18. This is my first JDM Club. It is a Mizuno F135 3 wood. It is so small it is the size of my Romaro UT. Speeder 652 stiff shaft. I bought it from --his original name was Naked Dave, he is/was in Tennessee, a giant club ho that many of the US forum guys know. It started me on the path and many clubs later i am still a JDM fan boy. One of my earliest JDM drivers I sold to Gocchin. Tourstage 340 which I think stayed behind in Toronto! Back to the Mizuno. Sold it in 2002 when I was living in Puerto Rico to a guy from Chicago. Took him a month to pay me with a USPS money order. I sent the club and it came back undelivered 10 days later, no one picked it up. I get the nasty email where is my club and I send it a second time and the same thing happens! No one picks it up comes back to the island. So, I am cleaning out my club rack, it is virtually empty now, and I come across the original I had forgot about. Pictures below.
  19. Thanks guys for the kind words. BOLD is SOLD.
  20. Some additional pics of the Bold
  21. I would recommend the T388. You are a high swing speed person and don't need the extra launch of the XT. The XV would work as well if you really want the deeper face. Shaft? I wouldn't have a clue what to pair you and it with.
  22. Pro Spec Utility from On Off. 27*, basically replaces a 5 Iron. Bassara stiff shaft. This was Gocchin's previously. $99 Gifted Shipped CONUS
  23. I might try to find a Yammy 09 model. Waiting for the new Romaro R as well. I really like the UT so maybe the FWY would be good.
  24. I haven't played the Yonex, but I doubt it can compare. the T388 is that good. I don't even have the urge to look at other drivers. I have a Ryoma D1 and the T388. Done.
