  1. That sucks! Move South! No snow here in SE Pennsylvania.....
  2. Rich has an extensive outdoor testing facility. I am sure there is a grassy spot there....
  3. Not as flowery.... New for 2013, Graphite Design introduces the newest addition to the Tour AD premium line of golf shafts, the Tour AD GT. The new Tour AD GT shaft is designed and manufactured at Graphite Design Japan and is available in 50, 60, 70, and 80 gram weights. The Tour AD GT design features an overall slightly stiffer profile than the Tour AD DJ, resulting in a higher kick point that produces a MID trajectory while maintaining optimal spin control. Like similar Tour AD wood shafts, the new Tour AD GT provides a player with amazing feel and improved performance in Accuracy and Distance. Revolutionary technology, design, and the most advanced materials are trademarks in all Graphite Design shafts, making them the highest quality premium golf shafts on the market today. Validating the company’s “Tour AD” logo, all of Graphite Design’s PGA Tour-proven shafts specifically promote “Accuracy and Distance”. These key competitive advantages are helping professional and amateur golfers optimize their games after switching to Graphite Design shafts. Graphite Design continues to be the most dominant shaft on the JGTO Tour and has been for the past ten years. SPECIFICATIONS: Flex = SR, Length = 46.0", Weight = 64.5 Grams, Tip Diameter = .335", Butt Diameter = .596", Parallel Tip Length = 3.0", Torque = 3.1Degree, Frequency = 252 Hz and Kick = Mid
  4. I am with you DaleUK! I have had my limit of pretty food that leaves me hungry. I will take a Tony Luke's Cheesesteak or Philly Pork sandwich over the pretty food....
  5. I have a D1 in 10.5 and swing 95 to 100. Shaft is important. I would not go with a 9.5 Vspec as it is harder to get in the air. One thing to remember is the tolerances with Ryoma are very tight. 10.5 is 10.5---with US models 9.5 is often 12! Most need more loft and our egos (at least US egos) can't take a driver with a big number on it that states actually loft. So the manufacturers fool us so we get better peformance. Go 10.5 it doesn't look particularly closed
  6. So the R UT should be more forgiving/easier to use? Type R irons easier than Type V? or CX?
  7. Nobody? No one has seen these? I know I am a sheltered American living in a tiny US town, but someone must have seen these? Titleist, if you are listening, there is a huge potential market for a forged more forgiving than the AP2 iron across the globe....
  8. Question sI have; is Romaro CX forged vs the Romaro type R which is more forgiving? Now that there is a new UT type R, will the old UT go on sale to clear out stock and should I buy the current UT on sale or wait for the Type R UT?

  11. Not exactly JDM but definitely not USDM either. So they are ADM... Saw these on Titeist Korea website. Look really interesting. Anyone see these in Japan or have a contact to get them in Korea? http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ko&u=http://www.titleist.co.kr/&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dtitleist%2Bkorea%26hl%3Den%26client%3Dsafari%26rls%3Den&sa=X&ei=dpMzUaHoIouL0QHd5IGQBA&ved=0CDUQ7gEwAA

More likely Obama gave him a 25 yen weakening vs dollar ;)
  13. When is the type R expected from ROMARO?
  14. Fair enough, but I couldn't/wouldn't recommend them to anyone on this forum...
  15. I just don't see it. I am not a Senior who like their gaudy clubs. I think I can name 5 better products in irons, woods and shafts easily better than what is currently offered by Honma at better prices. Companies go bankrupt because what they offer is not what the customer seeks. Without outside intervention, these companies don't make "comebacks" golf or otherwise. Remember Hogan or McGregor? Neither of these companies have returned to anything close to their former glory. Another industry, but how about Saturn in the US, Pontiac the originator of the Firebird? All companies Gone never to rise again to rise from the ashes like a Phoenix.
  16. Have tried Honma and I don't think its worth the premium, nor the hype. My opinion. Better innovation better quality better products at better prices elsewhere.
  17. What does yours say in the cavity? I see the shamrock but can't read the writing.
  18. The Mechanic is a better representation for Stew I think?
  19. Here is mine: damn picture won't work will redo later too dark right now
  20. Or Maybe a little like Pippin?
  21. The Romaro R line looks promising.
  22. I had a set of the Zestaim's a few years back and the dumbest thing I did was sell them off. Will be interested to see what you think of the Romaro CX's. They look like a contender for a CB... Good stuff1
  23. How does the S-Yard compare to your other forays? Like the Crazy and your trusty TM SQ?
  24. Those are definitely not pictures from WI! Enjoy the great weather!
  25. Thought it was me, but misery likes company, I couldn't get that thing to cooperate with me either! In the right hands it is lethal....
