  1. The maru is unforgiving and is 8.5 degrees, The RX-1 type 315 is a awesome driver but, 315 cc, so many not be forgiving for you but when you nail it goes. The J340, with the right loft 8, 9, 10 is probably the best of the 3 for forgiveness and ball flight. All were low to medium ball boring ball flights. The maru will make you hit some worm burners though.
  2. On their front page there's a thread about it.

  4. I think all Tourstage staffers only wear their gear outside of the US and in the US they wear bridgestone. Shikegi does rotate equipment often and sometimes its hard to tell what's for show and what's for dough.
  5. Can't wait to see the new CBs? How can they take weight out of the MR-23 wedge. Isn't it too light already????
  6. Chris, The Phantom mallet will be available in 33/350g in Japan? When is going to be available?
  7. I wonder if we will see any other Bobby Grace putters? :spit:
  8. This is a black SSS 350g full beach with a scotty dog and crown. 2K easily. If someone wants to sell that to me for 1k-1500, I'll take it.

It looked like he was using some BG MOI last time. Did Zomo make a proto like that for him? Some people thought it was a Gauge Maru proto.

Interesting news. Probably why Maru is signed with Zomo now. Also means probably no more Maru signed Bettinardi Putters. Maybe they'll go up in value now.

Basically, everything is different. There Japanese website is dated. http://www.crewsgolf.co.jp/ Bettinardi is distributed by Marus's Dad in Japan.
  12. Warning NSFW! If you guys can past this test, then you can teach her to putt. http://www.big-boys.com/articles/menconcentrate.html
  13. Ebay or email Dave Robles. [email protected]. Jim Butler, Tablerockgolf, can order a custom GSS but, no circle Ts.
  14. The ridgies have a higher COG and so the ball goes lower. The smoothies will get the ball up and seem to be more forgiving.
  15. screw the camera, i want those wedges! wow chris, you really hit it home this time, those are sweet Ah ! You don't know! I put curse on those wedges. I'll bet ya in 4 months he'll put them on the market.  Joe  LOL, that sure was a powerful curse! It was so strong the wedges only lasted 4 days instead of 4 months...ha ha ha Thank you Lightrider :surprize: OMG!!! I guess :money: talks ha! You are :) brother!!! joe  I think half my bag has been around the world 3 times without me. :spit: Now everytime you see the wedges JK, your fingers will ache! :wah:
  16. Those are putter shafts. Chris had it installed in a Bettinardi 360TR. I think its been around to a few others. I think he said he like the feel but, its an expensive putter shaft.
  17. New Price. $375.00 shipped within the US and paypal cash.
  18. I'd call Ping first and see what they would do. Maybe you might get a new head for little $$$. If not, try Kevin Colbert. www.putterplating.com
  19. I have a brand new, still in plastic set of 2004 MR-23 Wedges that retailed for over $550.00. These are not the V2 FE versions. I believe these have been long sold out as well as the new V2 versions. I am willing to let these go for $450 shipped in the CONUS, OBO. Paypal cash. Not looking for any trades right now. I can send pics but, they are brand new and still in plastic.
  20. There were alot of Prototypes/limited runs in this style. I sold one on Ebay a few years ago for around $400.00. The Stainless one may go for alitttle more. It is a great putter. He made different weights (340/350), materials (stainless/carbon), and finishes(few flat black). Also, like yours a few with Inserts. He would do Runs of 500 with something like first 10 being Stainless and models with Inserts and without.
  21. If you have to ask....Then you don't want to know. :money: Great stuff. Especially the hologram. No offense intended but, how much do you think it cost for limited V.2 wedges. The stripping, re-plating, labor finishing, polishing, and PITA removal and replacement of the Hologram logo by Joe K? That's not even counting the Spine and flowing of the wedge shaft. The work is phenomenal.
  22. If you have to ask....Then you don't want to know. :money: Great stuff. Especially the hologram.
  23. Probably around $400.00. Maru has alot of putters out there.
  24. JohnnyTn, Joe put my Maru's to a perfect D5 & D6 with a Satin refinish, TC R flex shafts custom paint job...the works, the difference is night and day, how can Maru hit them feathers, the grind on these wedges are just to good to be wasted with such a light Swing Weight and stiff/short shaft. I heard about those on my last visit...so it was you... damn nice to do that on $600 brand new wedges.. as for the one I have for sale... used set of 2003's 53/59 Swingweight are d4 and d1 respectively..then have been extended about an inch..the SW can be increase further of you remove the corded grips and put regular one on. The 2004 is the 99.9 FE model.. it's dead stock at C6.5 and yes 2003 and 2004's have the same grind...the grind is best..very very versatile. I really like the grind of the 59 Maru wedge. The 53 is a little iffy. Did they improve that on the V.2 as well? Must resist new Maru Wedges..... :wah:
