  1. I played several rounds with the Roddio-i10 SX with '09 ONOFF heads before moving the shafts on to Ian-500. They are most similar to the Crazy CBI EVO II. You can definitely feel them load and release. Trajectory is on the higher side compared to the Tour Attas, but I also attribute much of that to the head. With the Roddio I felt I could go after it and lay off based on the shot I was trying to hit. Because of the head I had issues with trajectory control but considering what the i8s do in the FairWay Wings UT I believe lower flight is very possible. Unfortunately, getting Roddio shafts into iron heads has proven to be challenging for me and ONOFF seems to be the most likely candidate. I just can't bring myself to order a set that of them as they do not align with my preferred look at address and ball flight..
  2. For all the graphite iron shafts I have tried, these definitely provide the most penetrating trajectory. They are very stable and hold up nicely to highish SS(I'm about 112 driver peaks in high teens). I have them in a set of RomaRo Pro, so the CoG on the head is contributing to the trajectory, but compared to the TS 905 heads with Crazy CBI IIs which should also be a low mid trajectory set up the Attas/RomaRo are materially better for ball flight. I do not think these are overly active tips but the overall shaft does feel wonderful. Also, they do not hinder head/hand communication. Still get that great sensation on clean struck balls and can get where on the club face I am making contact. When I tried the C-Tapers I did not like them at all. Felt like swinging a piece of rebar. So I do not have much comparison for you there and have never played Project shafts.
  3. Wait for him to sell one...
  4. Chop chop… Don't care if you're tired, get on that….
  5. First off, I do not consider what I am doing to be hoarding. I am diligently experimenting with different clubs to identify what works best for me. I do not think that you can properly identify if one club is better than another from a couple of buckets or a round or two. While I agree that you might know what doesn't work, you need some time to understand the nuances different clubs bring to the table when they feel right. Which one is more right requires different playing conditions both with the course and the swing. When playing for money or comps, which I cannot say I do anymore, I would rather play the club I am most familiar with and has the potential for the best output. Simply because it is easier to make adjustments on the fly based on how you are swinging on that given day and for the good days, you will shoot lights out. Going into a match thinking that you need a more forgiving club is partially admitting defeat before you even start the round. The only train of thought that follows the logic implied is: "I know I am going to be a poor ball striker today, so better take the easiest clubs I can"; instead of thinking, "I ain't gonna miss today better bring out the lawn dart launchers" In the case here, for me, I am expecting the S-Yard to be a more forgiving Zero. As it relates to the rest of the drivers in my quiver, the V-Spec I have is the low man on the totem pole and if pushed to shed something that would be the first one gone. As to smaller heads on a driver, similar to others I prefer the look of a thin top line and little to no offset in an iron, compact drivers instill that same type of confidence for me. So I actively seek out 400cc or smaller heads, or at least those that seem it at address.
  6. Can't speak to the size of the Yururi, but I have a thread in here with some compare shots of the Miura BB, Tourstage 905, and the RomaRo Pro. The RomaRo Pro gets my vote. You also might consider the newly Posted TourStage blades 909 I believe...

    Great looking clubs. GLWS!!!
  8. Starting to think I have a bad name round here...
  9. New TourStage X-Blades...
  10. Great write-up. Not surprised by the Kyoei softness, or that the ONOFF are as soft or softer than the Personals. Personals are a denser feel, the ONOFF. at least the '12s that I hit were marshmallows. The RomaRo are a great balance between, which is consistent with your Kyoei thoughts. Good luck deciding.
  11. Big fan of the reverse taper on the Fourteens. How much does that raise the CoG? Comparable to the RomaRo Pro or what? Great write-up and photos...
  12. Always a lovely item on offer at a great price. GLWS.
  13. I can tell you, mine is purely because I ordered a replacement with a custom shaft as opposed to the stock offering. I do not need 2 of the same club and think without re-shafting I would have a hard time controlling it. I ordered the 2nd one because I would rather retain the warranty with the shaft I want by having S-Yard or and authorized builder do the assembly.
  14. I think that is the name of the wedge... Do you have a link to where you can view the picture?
  15. We know what Stew does… Walks in looks to his right, then his left, asks his wife for his wallet and says I'll take two… Not exactly sure how Spoon's OCD would take to all the possibilities...
  16. You can be hitting tomorrow if you want to...
  17. Be nice, the crackhead ho would be after usdm… They are more of the 6 month rotation Arab harem variety...
  18. Got my Personals back today. Tario said my Yam Tours should be shipping soon. Now if we could only melt the 2.5' of snow we just got from Nemo I could actually do some swinging...
  19. Does it require internet access to capture the swing? Will it work with an Amazon Kindle Fire? Any ETA on iOS? Any help on those would be great...
