  1. They are like Facebook friends and twitter followers, didn't you know… The only real score now a days is your Q rating...
  2. If only you were stronger and played 7.7...
  3. As I know that in order to measure a persons worth is not about the quality of the relationships you have, the reputation you have left, nor the impact you have left on this planet. It is purely based on the number of thread posts you have made. No matter how useful, useless, insulting or humorous it is all about volume and the number of stars and their color. As such I must say I am a little hurt that my measure has been reduced some in recent days. Is there anyway the mods can help my self esteem by increasing my post count? Help me go from to
  4. Thats what I have been doing wrong... Good advice there ant. If you are trying to figure out a combo of weight increase and flex change NSPro are a great cheap, good feeling way to do that. There is a variety of weight classes higher than the 75g stuff. Think jumping to the 950 is a good starting point as you can always drop down from there if needed.
  5. Gives new perspective on a chocolate brown finished club...
  6. If your fitter says too light, then going to a graphite shaft of the same weight isn't going to get you anywhere. As Spoon said moving up a weight class, on the steel front an NS 950 would be the way to go.
  7. Sheep doesn't bother me one iota. It is the placement of the little thing right behind it that I think is poor placement. Looks like a sheep dropping to my aging eyes. On the CG, I really like the flight out of my RomaRo/Tour Attas combo and believe that to be a combination of shaft and higher CG of the head. Nothing else I have hit seems to get that kind of piercing trajectory, at least since the Miura BB/SP Blues.
  8. Whatever is behind the sheep in the logo, really poor placement... Can they alter COG in the blades, adapt what S-Yard did in the Bolds? Copper underlay is the sheep's teets...
  9. Personally I am insulted by the SPB being labeled as harsh… Definitely the archer not the arrows... :)
  10. classic…

Great putter… best quote on feel, "frozen butter on a stick" courtesy of Spoon… Good man to do bus. with as well GLWS….
  12. When I was picking mine up at the PO, the mailman looked at the box and said "Yamaha doesn't make golf clubs" to which I laughed out loud. He proceeded to tell me how he plays Taylor Made and they are the best. Again laughing out loud, indicated that the best clubs are made in Japan even the likes of Taylor, Nike and Callaway use prominent Japanese forging houses for many of their top models, but if you want to play the best...
  13. But the barrier has been broken, good luck keeping the genie in the bottle...
  14. Kinda tough. They are in CA and I am in RI, also they don't have it anymore. Have let my nephew use them some, with a you break my bro buys me a new set agreement... Will try to draw something up a little later for you...
  15. The shafts I am having them build with have already been shipped to Japan and are awaiting release for the build… How sad is that. At least this time I am not buying a set then realizing I could do the shaft thing and ordering the duplicate...
  16. Think it is going to be a race to see who gets their Bolds first and posts a review/pics in the field...
  17. That was the old S-Yard wedges, not the Bold S-Yard wedges... I have a pair of Toyos and Yam getting built now while awaiting the Bolds to be built and a trio of RomaRos that are in play. Makes me dizzy some days...
  18. Are the other irons embarrassed to be seen with the Yams?
  19. I almost did that… Sans putter and driver. Pro Forged are still the best I have but the Yams have not been played for more than a handful of hits. The wedges are flat out performers but much crisper in feel than the rest of the offering. Have the UT and the iBrids, really liked both of those. iBrids out perform the UT for my taste but the ONOFF UT is the best of the lot to date. Very close between the ONNOFF Type S and the iBrid but the ONOFF just has that, to steal a quote, "frozen butter on a stick" feel... All that said you could definitely be very happy with an all RomaRo bag including grips and bag...
  20. Thanks Nick, good luck re-assembling your bag...
  21. I like that we all stayed out of Stew's way...
  22. That might be a record for seller's remorse...
  23. Trajectory is controllable, if 435 is not lower launch might cause probs... Great shaft for a swinger that wants elevation...
