Generally it is fairly low on the shaft with heavy heads. Try to balance the putter on 1 finger, where it balances is the spot.

My opinion on weights in the grip, I like them but I don't think they change the SW feel even though the scale will tell you it does. You might want to try putting the lead tape a little bit above the balance point on the shaft. Also it might need more than you think. If that works then you can brainstorm how to make it pretty...

How do you control distance on the greens with your putter having that kind of SS? Now assuming you meant to type Zero, then I have been thinking along similar lines. I thought the Zero was a high SS design, not that +100 is slow but would not classify it as high either...

What did you counter balance?

I think what Jay is saying is that the playing length of the shaft has not changed with the lie angle just the height off the ground the end of the shaft is...

+1 Many other sports can translate into high SS in golf. Baseball, many racket sports, hockey, etc… They all require similar muscle groups and firing patterns. Actual mechanics are slightly different and one can definitely screw up the other but for raw potential...

Got my 909s a few minutes ago. Anyone need some Modus 120s in Stiff… Never used grips still in plastic. Looking forward to getting past the snow today and tomorrow and into spring playing conditions. Looks nice, but I much prefer the two-tone top like the iBrid and Type S... Also, I would say the Type S is more of a thud than a pop. Sounds more like to solid things hitting together… The iBrid on the other hand is a little more metallic sounding.

Judged should have been just about, love auto correct. FLA was nice. Have a great photo of my 8 yr old lounging with a gaggle of bikini clad coeds all around him in chairs. He is napping with a fedora over his eyes. Classic... Played two courses, The Florida Club and the Ryder course at PGA Village. Ryder course was nice, fast greens that didn't play very much break even though it looked like there was. Also very happy with play there as I lost my driver on the 2nd hole. Snapped the shaft. Played an 18* Yam UT off the tee the rest of the day and we played the tips... Didn't like The Florida Club too much. Nothing great, fairways were crap and greens were blah... Wish you could have made it out for a round. How was the romantic weekend?

Yeah, have the 909s coming to replace them... Personals are too high launching and soft for me. Caused a mental breakdown on club selection.
