  1. Yeah that was a mistake.... :D
  2. Wait till you try high modulus carbon, then the Aerotechs will feel off...
  3. Didn't you get the Yams? Now you want the Personals... Or do I have that backwards?
  4. I will be once TSG finalize the contract terms and can find out the head only vs shafted price...

If you're keeping both play one set in copper... You can always plate later... The best set I ever sold was that set in copper.
  6. Be careful, drinking is like JDM. 1 begets 2 turns into 4 becomes 8 soon you're bankrupt, morally and financially. Them you're admitting to a problem and on an 18 step/hole program...
  7. Contact is out on the toe with those wedges. Is that intentional? Nice clubs by the way...
  8. If you can recover quick enough I am sure they do....
  9. You still thinking about Paula?
  10. Not sure if this will translate internationally but here goes anyway... Sexy from behind, but are they butter faces?
  11. If you're doing 5-p try a couple of soft steps... The X are very manageable..... Also there is the non-Tour version. Not sure on those, but the Tours are 80T carbon per Tario..
  12. My experience with the recoils prototype predecessor is that they are higher launching like the Aerotechs. If you want to keep the ball down a little you might try the new Tour Attas in the pro shop. If you're fitter can get recoils they should be able to get the Attas as well via TourSPX program...
  13. Is the JBeam short for Jim Beam or is the post man supposed to pick up your old driver? If it is Jim Beam, I'll get on a plane with my Zen...
  14. Recoil is materially more expensive than Aerotech, if that makes it easier for you to decide… Recoil is a pure graphite shaft, opens up the selection to all high modulus options at that point, think Crazy, Roddio, UST/Mamiya, etc...
  15. Means someone in the UK post office took it home and will be gaming it in the spring...

I'm inclined to agree with myself that they are close but not spot on, at least to my builder's finding of the spine. Is it possible the graphics impact the alignment a little???
  17. When you play lefty with the Zen it works as a chipper...
  18. Can't wait to pick up a cheap Regio Formula shaft on BST for all those wanters of the hot blue Modus 3...

I know for my Crazy CBI the logo up/down was not 100% accurate. The spine mark, or what we assumed to be the spine mark, was off by a little <30* usually but off... It could just be that that kind of variance, with high modulus carbon, has a negligible to minimal impact so a logo up/down is sufficient for many except the supremely OCD of us...
  20. Am thinking of taking the 09 ONOFF heads and shafting them with something for my father in law who will be having shoulder surgery soon. Give him something he can still get in the air. Need a 5-P what do you want on the Shimadas if you think they will fit the bill?
  21. He is playing different flexes between the cool red and hot blue… So I believe the R flex is lighter than the S flex, has nothing to do with paint color...
  22. Any lightweight r or senior flex?
  23. I dunno, I think you'll need to get in line behind a couple of Aussies and myself for who started building the RomaRo bandwagon round here... :)
  24. I am told the 125i is designed as a wedge shaft not necessarily a true iron shaft...
  25. The only one I am truly familiar are the SPBs as I played them for a few years in Miura heads. The Aerotech I only hit the 95i in an X flex during a long winded fitting with comparing a multitude of shafts. The reason for my query is I was at my fitters earlier today and he was showing me a fitting from someone else at a different location and we could not figure out how the same person hitting the same head would come away with the best trackman numbers on these three seemingly dissimilar shafts in a spectrum of 10 or so various shafts. I can understand feel a little bit, as Stew and you describe as well as my own experience with them, but can't figure the mix out. Especially when "trackman" is ranking the numbers… The Aerotechs, unless too stiff would launch very differently than the SPBs, so should be very different numbers between those. Then there is the weight/profile differences between the Thumps and the otter 2, I just can't comprehend it… Trying to make sense of it... And Vincent, I apologize if my earlier post was a bit curt. I generally try to do my homework before posting.
