  1. I had to get rid of the PX i was told by my coach to move up to X Flex so its hard to coment i will say that when i had my new set put together that the club fitter tested the PX to be softer than the stiff flex they were suposed to be so maybe check the flex against your set of SP Blues coz that could certainly make them hard to control. But i agree with Spoon go the SP Blues you know their the best, i dont think youl have any problems and as he said you could always soft step
  2. Are they PX Flighted or just the standard?

Stuie iv been using the Bushnell 1600 for 6 months now previously had the sure shot gps and the bushnell is unbelievable with the pinseaker gives you exact distances to the pin plus scan mode to pick up how far to hazards, trees, etc but the best think is no running out of battery coz you forgot to charge it the night B4, the bushnell should last around 1 year B4 you need to change the batterys. Dont get the V2 Pinseeker POS compared to the 1600 and the slope edition is illegal even in local club competition, well in Aus it is anyway not sure about japan. I got mine cheap on Ebay cost was $350 aud delivered.
  4. I didnt have to customize my 102 and it came out about D3 standard head weight i think where as the HT was going to come out C9-D0 stock from memory, i know the previous Epon Fairway was a lot heavier but that was made of steel not titanium like the HT. The good thing about Epon is at least you can order a heavier head i dont think you can do that with the Egg
  5. Yeah i think its better to add the weight to the head if you cant find a club builder who can do that then you can put those weights in the tip of the shaft, its not much use changing to a heavy shaft you would need something like 9g just to change the swing weight 1 point. I dont know why these companys are coming out with lighter utilitys
  6. I would get some extra weight in the head thats what i had to do with the Epon HT which is light as well, idealy you want to match your Driver/ Fairway around the same swing weight if your driver is say D4 and the egg is around D0 you will have a constant battle to hit both well on the same day with the same swing, and puting a heavier shaft in could make it worse youl lose the feel of the head. Other option is to cut a bit off your driver or add a bit of length to the Egg
  7. Antonio likes em, in fact the Nippon Shafts are consistantly better tolerences when put on the SST Machine than any other brand in his opinion
  8. Im putting a couple of Nippon WVs in some new Miura WMF-03 Wedges should arrive next week i will let you know how they play
  9. Yep if your playing a lot of links type golf on really firm tight fairways the Miura blades would excell
  10. playing off a 9 hcp i would definatly go with the AF tours probably the most forgiving blade iv ever hit. I havent hit the baby blades but they look more like a older traditional style blade. KBS are a good shaft but not even close to the feel and control of the nippon super peening. I know stuie (supo67) has both sets........along with just about every other jdm iron on the market!!! ;) im sure he will chime in with his opinion on how they compare
  11. not sure if this helps but i had the KBS wedge shaft and switched to Nippon super peening, i noticed more spin with the nippons on 3/4 to full shots and much the same feel around the greens, i would expect the WV to spin even more
  12. for some reason Im having trouble uploading pics so just pm me if ur interested and i will email them
  13. Selling my 730 Limited its 9.5* and has a Graphite Design DI7 X Flex in excellent condition only 4000 made, i think its a 435cc head from memory. asking $600.00 or $500 for the Head only + shiping from Australia. Please msg me for a shiping quote obviously it will be a lot less to ship the head only, i will add pictures when i get home tonight
  14. Im really happy with the Epon 202HT as to be expected with Epon they feel ultra solid at impact its easy to hit looks amazing. i havent hit the egg but is hard to imagine it would be that much better and i prefer the classic look and soft feel of the Epon , huge improvement on the 201. however you could stick the Crazy in just about anything and it would perform!!

I Play the Super Peening Blue, the main difference for me is distance control i found the PrjX and KBS can really shoot off and over club at times. I would try and play the 3/4 shot that would end up going as long as a full probably due to the low spin but the Super Peening are a lot better and Dynamic Golds are much the same No 1 and 2 for sure. i think the KBS is the king for those windy days, dont seem to ballon as much into the wind even with the higher launch

I have the FireXpres X Flex in 101 and Crazy 80FW X Flex in a 202HT the FireXpres feels like it has a touch more kick through the ball than the Crazy, Crazy is ultra smooth both have super feel it would be a flip of the coin to determine which is best once you hit a 80T or 50T shafts there is no going back! I do agree that the Quadra could suit a smooth swinger as some of the longest drives iv hit have been when im less aggresive and let the shaft do the work, maybe the Crazy is a touch stiffer but im comparing a 3 wood to a Driver so its hard to say. I think the next project is to try the Crazy 50 in a Driver

yeah thats true but i still doubt anyone could get near tigers 80% swing even with both feet in the air!

i dont know how those bridgstone LM come up with their numbers coz the pga tour average in 2008 was 112mph with JB holmes 125mph and Tiger around the same also a friend of mine tested at 130mph!! on the same machine and i would say at best he would be around 115 at those results youd want to be playing XX Flex
  19. If anyones interested tsg member EPONFreak is a distributor for the gripmaster im sure he can help you out
  20. i just ran over a koala i might skin and grip it up see how it goes ?? Stuie if u want to try one i will send you one in return for the Iomic? iv got 4 spares at home
  21. I have the Tour Leather Swinger http://www.thegripmaster.com/golf_grip_technology.html They would all be the same in terms of tack except the putter grips arnt as tacky, i think you will find Gripmaster were making the stitchback grips for the limited edition scotty camerons
  22. If you like sticky grips then the Gripmaster Leather Grips are the ultimate, i havent cleaned mine in over a year all they need is to wipe with damp cloth and dry, but i rarely do that coz sometimes its to tacky, seriously you dont even need to wear a glove but if you still do like i do the glove lasts twice a long as there isnt the same amount of friction with leather on leather as compared to leather on cord/rubber. And also they are awesome in the rain they just get tackier
  23. If you can find a good clubmaker to add weight to the head then it makes it easy to get the swing weight and length you want, and more shaft options. i had my clubmaker add weight to a Epon 202HT and with the Crazy 80FW (74g) he got it to D3.5 at 43 griped, without the extra weight it would have come out around C9. I find if you pair a heavy shaft with a light head you lose the feel of the head and it throws the balance of the club out

Glad to see you like em, i have ordered a 302 3 iron to go with my AF tours had enough of the Hybrid the gap between the 4 iron and hybrid is really giving me trouble plus i think the 3 iron will be much more accurate

As EPONfreak said i hit his 151 yesterday and was super impresed sets up pure looks everybit as good as the 101 and i was expecting it to have more of a hollow feel compared to the meaty 101 but i really couldnt find much difference in feel. Even though we were hitting crappy range balls i could tell this is more a point and shoot driver or should i say point and BOMB!! easy to hit and with a strong low spin shaft like the Quadra Prototype i could easily see this beating the 101 for distance. It is a very light head as standard so you might want to order a bit extra weight, which i think EPONfreak did with his. Really need to hit the 102 now and compare the 3
