  1. honestly dave i was never considering them, the nc1s are just as sweet feel and much easier to hit! i was basically just asking who thinks that these are worth...that sort of cash, especially since there is talk of a new set! plus guys once the new mr23s come out these will be nearlly worthless, regaurdless of them bein in the wrappers! IMHO these were a fantastic club when they came out, still are great.....just with technology etc a better set can be had with equal feel and more forgiveness....for the same if not less money!
  2. just found a brand new set of mr23s on ebay...i played these a few years ago and loved them...but please tell me guys are they worth this price???especially with the new mr23 line up coming! :surprize:   http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Tourstage-MR-23-CB...1QQcmdZViewItem

I have played both. 1050 stiff just hit too high for me but the 1150 stiff are perfect. If you like the feel and your ball flight is fine, stick with the 1050s and hard step. If you want to lower your ball flight and want a more "solid" (yet still soft) feeling shaft, go with the soft-stepped 1150s. Although mine are/were in different heads, I actually hit a club longer with the 1150s than with the 1050s. Ordering a new set of Srixon i505s w/ 1150s cuz i absoutely love the shaft. Just sold my i404s and have been playing my Gold's Factory blades with the 1050s and i just hit it way too high. they sound sweet...i really wanna try the 1150s....im currently playin 5.5 project x rifles chris which im liking better than the 750s i had in before hand....what flex would u suggest i try in the 1150s? Ditto, The NS 1150 is the best steel shaft I have hit to date. Before that I was a PX6.0 & soft step X-100 kinda guy, the 1150 will top out at a certain trajectory and the distance gain was on par with the PX shaft. I don't see me using another shaft for long while. My best words to describe this shaft would be a project X that gets up in the air faster, higher, yet will not balloon on you. it almost feels as if my Irons are more forgiving now

jaybit your so right....hence the reason i got rid of the 750s lol! they ended up being far to light for me.....in the long irons i could feel nothing! changed back to 5.5 px! although wanna give the 1150s a go to
  6. as chris says these are retail however i do believe that they only made a limited number of these! the only person i know with one is taipanli....
  7. Taip it was a toss up for me between the XST and your FST and im sorry to say now but now that i know ots slightly more shallow im gonna go for the XST! how are you finding th e diamana 83 in her? and does it perform as good as the m-65 as a fw shaft?

lol sf......i was tooo these look fantastic! who ever wins these will be a happy man! but he etter be a striker.... miura irons are of the best quality...the only irons that could put them outa my ba was the gauge! basically becasue they are softer and feel soooo buttery at impact, even on mis**ts. the miura's to me feel great when struck but just a bit hars if your having an off day!

im nearlly there guys, the only thing i would change to make my ba better would be Driver: VIQ 450 - GD W60 3 Wood: XST - M65 Ut - VIQ 19 - ut 85  the rest is stated in my signature!

beautiful clubs, these were my go to clubs before i got the nc1s. nice c risp feel at impact, very very solid and reduces spin significantly......get these fitted with the suitable shaft and your  ! try a set of miura tournament blades or a set of Blade miura forged mbs, or there is a set of RARE mizuno miura forged on ebay,,........

i was talking to a callaway tour van member last xmas and he told me that the reson they could not install nippon was due to the head weights of the x tours! he said that they are quite light heads and the combo of light head and light shaft wouldnt work! if you were considering the nippons in the x tour id advise some extra weight in the cavity! ps sf callaway definately have heard of nippons as the ns series comes standard in the fusion irons.....which might i add are exceptional heavy heads!
  13. naked dave just buy it in 15 anyway......that way it will give u an excuse to re-arrange your bag! lol.........not that i would do anything as silly as that!
  14. A Change will do u good! the coppers look sweet but IMO they tire easily......if i were u and choosing mine again i would have to go with the nickel as ive wanted to see how this would turn out!.....i had the japan satin finish on my scratch cbs which was classy looking, and also very durable but not significantly different! if you wanna really stand and be mad out go for something like the nickel or the black, whereas if u want something that will stand the test of time stick with the satin, as these wont lose their appeal as quickly!
  15. lol bruin......if i knew there where new gauges coming out i would sell.....but id need confirmation first and a rough time guide!

that must be such a SWEET putter ! lol
  17. really its all about being properly custom fitted! get the right shaft for your swing speed and specs! best advice anyone can give
  18. Rombax gives a great flight on the ball, with low spin that rolls forever....also the axiv in the correct flex for your swing and swing speed should bound on! if it is ultimately distance u want i would also suggest that you go down a half flex to a flex and make it half an inch longer! i tried this before and went to a reg tipped at 45.5 inches and the distance gain was noticeable!
  19. will definately sell the club for cash.....please make me an offer. pm me and we can deal!

yeah, less of the right hand would give you more control and less jerk! i didnt realise that it was common to teach beginners a 10 finger grip! also maybe because they are young and girls the coach just wanted them to use their wrists more.......and a 10 finger grip would certainly help with that!
  21. plus1 replied to jerry1967's post in a topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
i have smallish hands and have always used the interlock grip....now it is the only comfortable grip for me... though i have two younger sisters, one 10 and the other 12...both learning golf and the coach has recommended they start of by using the 10 finger grip.........is it just me or is this strange?

i played with an ex european tour player during this summer and he used a broom handle putter, with the shaft full to the butt with sand! i couldnt beleive this.....nor could i beleive the weight of the darn thing! when i asked him, why all the weight? he told me it helped his putting tempo and made it easier for him to achieve a pendulum with the extra weight! He stated to me that the more feel and tempo you have in your stroke, the more putts you will hole......so guys if sand is all it takes......im headin straight for the beach!
  23. They will be trying to get into the bag... Im having a wedgeathon next week with my new arrivals: New PRGR TR-Wedge Scratch JLM Wedges The GAS1 Forged ( just cleaned the grooves ) Traditional Golf Custom Grind Wedges Scratch Custom Grind Wedges ( in several weeks ) cant wait to see the winners.....cosmetically the scratch look unreal, but seeeing i havent tried them i cant comment on performance...all i know is that the gas1 forged will be hard to push out! the grind and grooves on these puppies are sick!
  24. anyone want to sell an import driver.... was looking for a tourstage viq but dont want to have to go through the waiting period! lol pm me with offers
