shafted a honma tw717m , 7 iron. and took other 7i with DG s200 as a placebo. hit them head ot head on the par 3s. many many times well surprise or surprises, the NS is harder stiffer striaghter tinnngier. the dgs200 is softer, gushier, easier to move around, lower. distance goes to the NS when i really mashed into a cpl of fariway shots the DG was a bit bendier, the NS stayed like an arrow, for us amateur choppers this meant it prob was a cpl of yards infront . damn this NS thing is a stiff beast. forget NS now being a soft option, this shaft means business. i doubt many peops will love this , the heads on these are terrifc , soft but dense, this was an interesting feel, nothing like i was expectiing. remininded me of shimada tour 125 X.. very similar. these ask a lot of questions. took me by surprsie figuered they wud be a bit softer.................., nup. these are going to play on links very , very soon. . the last par 3 was 198 yards i took both 7 irons with 5 shots each to absolutely give it to the ball. i wanted to see how short they landed. how they went with a 100% basbeall grip draw swing kapooooooooow the DG was lovely but a bit soft. . nice little arc. low . piercing . arc. i cud aim just right of the target and it came back over the bunker to the catchment area before the green edge. pertty perfect to be honest. cudnt really ask for mre thruth be told. the feel was nice on good shots but typicall bit gunnnnnnnnnnngggg...., raspy on miss**ts. the NS however........... were 3 arrow straight pulls and 2 all timers. it was unreal. i hit the tree ,( twice! ) and the bunker once. then re aimed and got 2 balls dead centre dead straight , not 1mm did it menader left nor right. hmmmmm, right,,,, this is what they can do. both of thse wre 3-5 yards longer than the bst DG. that brought a wry smile. dont get cute . aim straigt, hit into it results will come. i think they will grow on me. they are nothing what so ever like either the 120s or 130s. nothing at all i dont even consider these in that same genre i think........, me likey...!!!

3w... ryoma f2 13* VS pr-gr egg spoon (original) 13*
supo replied to supo's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
never hit it, the other one id think of is the new srixon, i like that lok, rounded, ft ,chunky. but i think off the deck it cud be a handfull ( ,more so than the sleek ones) -
prgr- egg irons ( hybrids) 4(21*) & 5(23*) heads.
supo replied to supo's topic in Buy, Sell, & Trade
totally differnent. these are just super swing easy heads, the sole is thinner than previously. so it makes them abit better in all conditions, the previous ones were really thick. only for swingers not diggers, these are a BIT more all rounded. i never got one to hook ,ever under any condition. they go straight adnd fall right. they are utes not driving irons , so from a fairway the y are much better than a DI. but u dont get he same versatility u do with a DI frm the tee. miles more consistant /easy from the fairway. feel is very tingy not epon soft. -
These things...... are the most super utes and they are actually iron heads part of a set why prgr didnt just make the utes outta these is beyond me! REVIEW HERE: http://www.tourspecgolf.com/blog/prgr-new-egg-forged-irons-review/ did some one say DONT GO LEFT???? these are it, they are long ,HIGH and land like a feather. i had them with monacco X shafts, (maybe a bit heavy), but a nice NS 120s wud make the sing like a..........gypsy! bec im into the HONMA driving iron now is the only reason these are going. i had to beg to get these clubs seperate like this. these handle anyones swing . and will drop dead on target. they are in great nick, no marks , dents ,really great hybridy kinda things!!!! ENDO made s20c forged . $75 shipped each. Or both for $100 shipped

3w... ryoma f2 13* VS pr-gr egg spoon (original) 13*

3w... ryoma f2 13* VS pr-gr egg spoon (original) 13*
supo replied to supo's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
they are about as opposite as there is. the f14 is the beast off a tee, and its the ultiame wind cheater.., the ryoma is not in the same league. nor design. both of these with the same shafts is the awnser...! -
ryoma f2 with diamana aliislei 80s built 346 gram d3 43inch egg spoon 13* diamana B 70s d2 336 gram ryoma is a smooth as silk club with a crisp impact. launch is flat then it stretches up and lands soft, heck of a club this .perfect for winter! perfect for chasing longer par 5s. the egg is flat , low rolls a mile and is moster long. thers nothing longer than thie egg ive ever hit , the egg is the distance king. and with the diamana B its VERY "PIIIIIIIIIIIING" ur hands kinda explode , its an unreal feeling. the egg vs ryoma, the egg is longer no doubt about it. from a tee the ryoma. really surprises nad is def the better option. it was pretty windy yesterday so got to see to the ryoma in full war cry teed it up ever so slightly and lamped into a cpl. draws mostly ,small baby draws. i had the club bilt heavier and gelled the head to get my specs, the gell added a nice weight to the head and really made it clearly distinguishable in the swing i knew where the head was the whole swing which at times with ligher JDM clubs i get lost at times . . The ryoma is EASILY a driver repacment, as long as ud need , still not a fan of the VERY sleek face, i prefer a bit of CHUNK, but for up here these are superb. both of them summer here they are both a NO brainer. the egg is longer, no doubt, the ryoma feels better and is higher and softer and can move left easier. the egg is 100% point shoot , roll, wedge in!. id still take the egg off the tips and id take the ryoma from the blues or in winter. one more thig both are longer and easier thant he new model off te deck. new model is better than both off the tee.

dont spose aset of black tour only protos is ur thing ?? 4-pw they are heavier, think 132 grams made for someone on the US tour , dont know who tho. just pulled them.
-
hi.., first shimada are a higher kick point so they wil lauch flat, like ur c-tapers so thats prob a good thing ur used to they are smoother than c-tapers but not as much as NS pro. they are an excelelnt choice for blades or players cavity. they do not get tossed about in wind. nor lose distance thru ballooning they are pretyt tight and striaght shooters. the lighter 3001s might be a very nice shaft or the tour 125stiffs, dont like the 125 X they are pretty boardy your Swing speed , no probs for either the 3001 or the 125s id think
-
425 tour...435...435 II 450 like the 425 tour most. 435 most cnsitant and longeest. 435 II spun too much. 540 was long but kept t pulling it. 435 is the one ive got and keep. 425 tour is the other one i SHUD have but havit at mom. stinger sahft in these play unreal. as does the roddioshingo 2010 and FEX quadra.( prob the longest but loves the right) dont think i can se atime when im without at least one jbeam interested to try that z11 thing
