the .388 and the XV are nothing alike in anyway looks totaly differnt. feel completlely differnt trajectory and workability completley differnt they aer a perfect foil for each other, KK has aboslutlty donged it with this pair i think the XV might be the longer of hte pair. but icant say definitively yet, bec ive not gamed it, but the flight iwas getting alluded to it on range the .388 u can do ANYTHING with, its amazing the XV is more of a point shoot. roll so far. i much prefer the shape of the XV, but saying that ive hardly hit a miss hit with the .388 so i ts a tough call eye candy wise the XV gets it for me. and when i shaft up the new 9.5 with a diamanaX ill have a definitive answer. i cud easliy playthese two drivers over all others with no regrets the maxima ive not hit yet but will wsooon enough im sure, iloved tis shape not found one with my specs to hit yet but if its beter than the v-spec well its gotta be an awsome head.

  12. goodlooking head nudg.. whats the scoop on it, i cud use this back home no probs i guess. gimmea quick blurb adn i might swap u a cpl of things for it. always liked the callaway JP drivers
  13. afte a fairly exhasting session yest with these and the ora ...... i think the 2g18s (protos) are the smothest shafts ive ever hit. they go high. the they fall dead. think target practice. the modus 130 are meant to go higher and spin more than the 120s , heavier by a few grams. reports form the US say these things go brilintly in wind. they exceded all epxectation of the tour players using them. in regards to the 120s i think they are noticebally sweeter at impact. and like the 120s they have a very tight dispersion. vs the monacco X yetser day the 2g18s were tighter and straighter with less movemnet after apex. monacco can be moved about with ease ,the 130s not so. found them to be just automatic for point shoot shafts , with a hell of a feel , they feel soft , but they most definatly are not! id game these over the other protos i have if i ahd to choose just one set. althought the DPx are prety tasty as well..... i think i prefer the monacco in the epon personal heads to the other NS shafts, but i prefer the NS shafts in yamaha heads to monacco. might do a bit of tinkering i think but my choice of only 1 set of shafts wud be down tpo monacco VS the 2g18s
  14. Ill let u know in a minute i just hitting mine nowmvs the monacco and ora S far they are bloody smooth and nice
  15. yup very much like it . in the flesh even more. lovely design but its KK design in 09 ??? thought he was at epon ?

  17. Private stock no 2 with sound box and ff ust shaft with winn jumbo lite Awsome stck
  18. well i hit 20 putters in hawaii with all differnt faces and i-drives baby was the nicest i got to hit, saying that hes ahd it reworked by the master 2-3 times.. so its pretty tuned in to him . .. ive ordered my putters to be done the same forthwith.......................
  19. either is good. more feel with the shimada X , but the steelfibres .. i played on saturday in stiff only (125) i think might suit you better, they launch low and are extremely sturdy. faultless , i think im JUST at the cusp of playing them well enough. faster .harder swingers than i will definatly get more form them. they were LOW. certianly not the best feel goinground but really really smooth................. i think i like CW shafts, these and the monacco are my faves.
  20. hahhahah i think it was a rougher paint job to create more friction.
  21. u liking them?
  22. supo replied to TourSpecGolfer's post in a topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
not played it yet. thats this weekend is if not pouring with rain. just cant go past the diamanaX tho.. il guarantee that will go into it. at some stage
  23. yea theres quite a few guys out there that arnt fans of them now. initially i was of the same thoughts, recently ive just clicked with them , esp as the fairways are hard and firm right now. when it gets a bit softer , these might take a back set for a while. but, they are DEFINATLY going home to play in oz... i think they wil go really well there.
  24. been playing mine recently 52+56 with monacco X damn. these things go LOW. ive ben hitting them prety well and ive noticed 2 very good things firstly even on champ speed greens , these thins spin. i was playing o na course last wekeend that has a JLPGA event this weekend, adn they were SLICK... the 56* was gripping and sitting beautifully. ive got some good confidence to go hammer and tongs at the lin with them , and they do the job slendidly. seriously this combo is low low low low low, they are like throwing darts. nad now i know that stop dead. second. rom tight crop these are great wedges. that small rounded sole is perfect. really liking these things now.
  25. do u want a 2013 one??
