  1. yea ive got the noir its a beauty i find it slightly draw biased. mid ish launch maybe even high ish lots of carry got it in my ryoma pertty tasty . doesnt baloon just coasts to its apex then falls over not the greatest on a windy day but on still days its a purler. hardly miss withth tis thing got a whippy feel to it can feel the snap in hte tip turn the ball over. not as solid as i like but certianly not complaining its near the top of my arrows.
  2. after looking at this particular putter for about 2 yrs , i went back in the shop yesterday played around with 10 of yamadas putters, and settled on this one. head is 390 gram, i had it customed to 0.5 * closed face bec of my hideous slice when putting and playing around last night id say thats not a bad thing for me to do. contact so far has been pertty centered. the face has a copper insert and the feel is just out of this world. and a gripmaster leather stitchback grip on her. beautiful feeling ,( im hoping she likes me as much as i like her) its a jspec puttter only. ive had acpl of other yamadas perviously with mixed success , but this is totally differnt feeling. totally differnt. gaming her tomorrow see how she plays.
  3. blader thats a great review. ive also got the epon 102 with quadra proto 75xs not hitting it well at the moment so its benched, but ill never change it around from that set up. when i do drive well its really really pure. i find it almost a impossible to get it to go left with any kind of regularity its always a fade or at best straight but its as solid as anything u can hit pretty much. great shaft the p9003x is a great shaft but no where near as spicy as the quadra i
  4. if ur going to cut the shaft to play short , then the p9003x at 80 gram is a wonderfull shaft , esp for the money ! i had an hour with the clubbuilder yetserday questioning just this issue. weight VS length. it came to me that the 9003x and the sigma crazy are the answer to that question. and u wont play the crazy so................................., the x in the p series is pretty taught and u get a high ish ball flight. its prety tough to snap hook , (which is nice) it hasnt ot hte feeling of the the fex or crazy not b y any stretch but performance is pretty darn good just up to u if u can got the extra stiffness the FEX at 75 is only 72ish grams so if u cut that it wil be much lighter
  5. im lost totally u play in oz the grounds are generally a lot tougher than elsewhere the grass is usually shorter and tougher i always went for small soled irons like kyoei blades tourstage 901s or yururi flatbacks that kind i find they are best down there
  6. Yes its good but the p 9003 x is in the formula one division closest to yr flex in crazy come down a notch the 80 ls 1 will be supoer maybe - 6.4
  7. Yea if u want low scuttlers that go a mile the ls2 is diffeeent from the original much different the original is beautiful feeling easier piece the2 is king kong in comparison the more i hit crazy the more theres only them
  8. massively but its not for carry its for straight and run. im just thinking magenta shores hawaii in week thats whats its for
  9. the crazy 80 ls 2 7.7 287 cpm is the heavyweight champ of the universe i was stunned today incredible feel, lowest launch , no spin, doesnt matter how hard u swing this eats it up. in a jbeam tour 425 head. at 324 x d3 45inch gaming it this week for match results but ill be suprrised if this doesnt get the nod back on the links in oz full time. feel is unbelievable , i havnt hit anything that feels like it it just goes straight. and runs for miles. its great. but i gotta match it to make 100% sure.
  10. Seriously try the md7s best fw wood in gd im hitting it as we speak in a rc driving spoon its better suited than the crazy fw 80 thst light blue thing is superb
  11. Right to do or not to do tje back shape is a vast improvement that look wins gotta step up bought a set of ns protos to putthem in last night ora x from carlos tomodachi gotta try em
  12. Bob are the11s more offset ibalked at a set today bec thet looked a bit morethan tje 08s they are on hold till i decided the 08s esp in the 89pw looked more sqaure and agressive maybe it was just ne but i thought hamg ona tic these do look worked the2010 i dont notice a diff what so ever tho
  13. Yes im gamin at least one of the rcs every round played 6 times in the last week and im not scoring just hitting tons of balls on course used the 11.5 crazy yesterday agn with a different outcome didnt game a driver as course was really short i reckon its 20 yards short if driver and10 OVER the 3. Wood average its most def longer than a 3 wood andits really quite piercing. I prefer the13' i find it a bit more easy on the eye the 11.5 is for utter clobbering i can see that living happily e er after at longy Yes i do tend to ramble and type like ive got6 thums
  14. The kailis perfectly fine in adriver and its outstanding in fw woods not a whole lotof great feel but results are v good unless u really want An uber top end shaft that one is plenty good its low its piercing but just a bit dull when u hit the ones mentioned above ull understand
  15. Yea a cpl of things the finish is pretty ordinary ive got a cpl of these and they aint holding up too well finish wise but what do u say when the quality of the ball striking is so good and consistant fhe driver cover is pants i dont even bother with it i i use a jbeam magnetic one on It its so much nicer tphd well thats ur thing I dont like that shaft at all love the f7 m2 tho weird huh? If my ryoma gets any more beat up im gonna have a word to them i cant complain abt the result but the quality control is pretty ordinary . I got a chip on the top of one from god knows what , never happened before. If u find the 65sx a bit soft try the 75 sx pretty sure that wont be ! Itll be HAMMER TIME!
  16. Frank i went down that road last yr ive got abt 10 hybrids sitting idle now used everything icud get my mittens on al with. Varying degrees of success ive settled on a cpl of egg irons ive converted that play monster long for when ineed a hybriid and i rotate the 4 iron depending on courses i think i practise with the 4 as much as any iron now to make sure i can strike. Balls with it when needed the. Irons go lower and are a lot more workable i cant wont hit one in the wind at links its madness thats why i gotta be able to clunk the 4 plus the yammy tours are 2deg loft. Jacked so a 4 is really a shorter length 3 iron heaps easier to hit consistantly i need both rotate whenneeded esp when the beatch slap comes into play bust out the ute those egg irons are virtually utes anyway i got em from3 -6 now 19'-26' cant drop a 4 tho completely its such a great club when u get it well
  17. Yamaha v440 is another to look at
  18. i like a big head from a tee. the DS is a lot easier to hit accurate and lower ,its a much better option than a spoon. ita a much better repalcement tool for a driver. i cud use this instead of my driver on a lot of courses nad have no issues what so ever. i think its a great option, esp for guys that dont drive accuratly . and ithink the 13 is prob the better tool , the 11.5 looks al ittle sleeker. more refined the 13 suits my eye better anyway.
  19. im on gardening leave at presesnt ,so playing every day been using both the new RC d/s in my bags got them both wired perfectly went for the crazy 80 FW in the 11.5* and the graphite design md 7s i n the 13* only used the 13* yesterday to see how it went , and boy is it a good club much easier to hit than the 11.5, not as long over all but plenty of carry and as workable as anything u can think of. i hit 12 balls fro the same tee yesterday on a tricky dog leg left with ob all down the left side, and bunker s lining the right, had to be on the short stuff to have a crack at the green. pretty long too 420 slight up hill driver not in question bec too straight goes thru the fairway dead. i hit 6 with the DS and 6 with the yamaha v14 crazy 80 fw to place the ball about 260 ish to hit a checked 8 irons in got about 8 on the fairway so was good comparison the DS wasnt really longer than the spoon if at all. i was a bit surprised by that, thought it woud be a lot further but most def not i got them all pretty much off the middle as well, so was a fair shoot out the 3 wood id say was probably the longest of them but without doubt the D/S looked a lot better at address as a driver replacement, looks ideal off a tee. the 3 wood went higher and more carry but the d/S was more accurate. the d/s didnt look like it wanted to go left all day which i sometimes get looking at 3 woods on tees. the accuracy with he d/s is fantastic. its lower trajectory is perfect for those tricky holes where u dont want the ball to balloon and blow out, but want good distance and some decent roll. these are really good adds to bags. and esp if ur driver is playing up then u can repalce it with this with supreme confidence ,and not a lot of "wow look how much distance im loosing." its much lower than the kasco but its a differnt stlye to that i love the kasco, but prob bec the quadra fex is in it makes it so much better. the 13* is perfect for day in out use. the 11.5 ill take back to oz as it wll be superb back there on the tougher links keeps it low and running fantastic design, great feel. not as versatile as a 3 wood, but better off a tee most definatly. its a true driver prelacement tool if ur looking to get some confidence without using a driver , then i reccomend this if u want low piercing shots then the 11.5 . if u want more versatilit y the 13 is perfect. seriously good wood.
  20. If its one or the other if u want hi landing softnes the srixon if u want more penetration its fourteen both good dufferent styles fourteen for wind
  21. the rcs i dont htink are deep at all. its only next to the eggs etc that they look pretty big. the rcs are very small and compact, they pack a mean punch.
  22. Rc. 304 t from yr or so ago o the uber trusty bbd range gamed my 304p agn today jeeeeeez rhey are good pit em anywhere u want Hard to pass up
  23. RC give u plenty of options , they have so many different styles theres guaranteed to be one thats perfrct. the yamaha is utterly superb. if u like slightly deeper faces. eggs form a fairway unbeatable, but the shallow face isnt for everyone.
  24. yup in 30 seconds. the look of the yamahas at address suits my eye better than everything ive played, maybe with exception of the isms , it makes it easier for me to strike. the af-tours ive got sitting in my bag basically brand new are now collecting dust...once again ah the pain the pain
  25. well i f u look around the box ull find me in there somewhere. i agree that TS get the easiest wraps in everything their drivers especially. i officially cant go back form yamaha irons now. im done.
