Have you hit a High COR Driver? :?
How do non-conforming drivers, ie Kamui, compare to today's super conforming drivers like the Ryoma?

Hard step vs Soft step....
Most customized shaft flexes I have seen are soft-stepped. Each "step" is about a third of a true flex. In trying to achieve a "firm" flex, if you want something just a bit softer than a true stiff, than I would soft-step stiff shafts. If you want something just a bit more stable than a regular flex, than I would hard-step regular flex shafts. Now I'm no fitter, but to me, hard-stepping makes more sense b/c once you soft-step a shaft and cut it to length, you can't reverse the process. Technically you can add butt extensions to each shaft to save them, but I don't like extensions. If you hard-step a shaft and decide you want to reverse it, then you can just cut those shafts to length. But again, most steps I have seen are soft.

Srixon Ute
I've been all over the place trying to figure out my bag for this coming season. I may now hesitantly slide a driving iron into the bag. I know that some are really loving the feel and performance of the srixon z-uti, but I've come across a zr-uti (I presume its the previous model). Has anyone used this previous model? Any comparisons/thought? THanks.

Titleist VG3 Iron ferrules...
I like the length and the wide chrome band. Are these available aftermarket? If so let me how I can purchase these please. If you guys come across anything similar in size w/ that fat chrome band, LMK also. Size .355 taper tips. Thanks.

Attas T3 shaft
Are the Attas, T2, and T3 shaft as stout as the Axivcore Black? Man, I put a regular flex black into my AF-101 and that thing cycled at 268! I was like, "this ain't no regular flex!" Maybe bad quality control.

22.5* 4i -----> 19*, 20* or 21* iron hybrid/ute?
The 4i in my set is 22.5* (Onoff Forged). I'm trying to figure out my next longest club. I'm looking for something that will give me at least a gap of ten yards. I really would like to try out a PRGR Egg product, but I'm unfamiliar with how much longer these things launch and land compared to other products of the same loft. My choices are: 1) 18*(3i) or 20*(4i) 2009 Egg II Hybrid Iron 2) 21*(4i) 2010 Egg Forged Iron 3) 19*(3+) or 21*(4+) 2011 Egg i+ Utility I would have thrown in the 2011 Egg Hybrid Iron, but I don't see them on the TSG Proshop, so I don't know the specs. What would you fit me with, or what would you personally fit yourself with? Thanks.

Shaft for 3 Wood
I don't know what your SS and launch is like, but the ilima in my fw is just so smooth. The ad dj is smooth, too, and loads well, but a touch more spinny for me.

Yards vs Inches?
When I choke down on my woods and longer irons, I don't lose that much distance at all, as long as I put a nice full swing on it. When I grip down the shaft, I tend to hit my shots more purely on the screws, which creates a bit more spin, leaving my shots to hang in the air and carry a further, which equates to almost same distance. Anthony Kim chokes down on every shot, and he's a pretty long hitter for an skinny golfer that's not that tall.

Nippon 950 flex
It's about mid-high flight, but I also tend to scoop the ball

Nippon 950 flex
I have KBS tour regular flex shafts in my irons right now. Thinking of going to a lighter shaft, between KBS 90 or Nippon 950. The KBS site says that my SS should go with reg for the Tour and stiff for the 90. What flex should I try for Nippon 950?

Replacing my 3i with a UTE?
What's the distance comparison with the egg and the yonex w/ similar lofts?

Replacing my 3i with a UTE?
The Egg Ute has such a smooth sole. How does it fare in the deeper stuff?

Replacing my 3i with a UTE?
I used to play an old TM rescue mid 17*. That was a good size. I think I could do a touch bigger if necessary. Thanks for the white TM thingy, but I'm going to see if I can eventually upgrade all my clubs to premium JDM clubs. I'm sick of eating street food. It's time for some fine dining.

Replacing my 3i with a UTE?
I just read a previous post similar to this one. Seems like the RC TRC is the general consensus. But I also read a post that it is designed for the better player, which I don't consider myself to be with a 12 handicap. Opinions?

Replacing my 3i with a UTE?
I'm about to place an order for some Yamaha V forged wedges, but if I can make up my mind before I place that order, I'd also like to order a utility hybrid type club to replace my 3i. I can't just go test out any JDM product here in the the Midwest of US, so I have to get some good recommendations. My driver SS is 92-95, I have an extremely smooth transition so I don't load the shaft that much. I tend to scoop and pick the ball at impact (going to work on this) instead of hitting down w/ my irons. My mis**t is a fat shot, usually from poor weight transfer. I'm looking for a very versatile UTE, but more on the forgiving side than workable. It's usually very windy out here in Kansas, so anything that offers super high trajectory might mess me up, so I suppose a mid-mid/high trajectory would suit me best. Any head/shaft combos for my style of game are welcome. Thanks.

Now sold.
There is a set of AF-tours on the US Ebay right now, but they seem to be selling out of London.

Don't know why this is interesting to me?
Shankopotamus replied to TourSpecGolfer's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech Gear...and for those with children. They need to make one for use on carpets and rugs. Now THAT would be ultra-useful.
