Golf Grips
Thanks japstar! It really means a lot. Right now, I'm doing well to GET my clubs, let alone attach some pricey luxurious grips to them as well. :p Going to try an Iomic wannabe in the Itomics and I also got a Lamkin 3GEN grip as well. So far, I'm leaning towards the Lamkin, but you never know. Whenever I can afford them, I do plan to get some Iomics though. Thanks again.

Wedges 101
Thanks gocchin! (^_^) I know that you are very busy and this will be a great addition to the entire forum. Thanks again and look forward to your documentary. Hey, this is off subject, but is there anyway to watch pro golf in JP?

Wedges 101
Sup people! This question is addressed to gocchin, but anyone can chime in if they have the knowledge. Gocchin, I was wondering if and when you plan to do a video review/documentary on wedges and how to choose them. I don't know about the different specs and whatnot, (except for the bounce...) but it'd be cool if you did or found a study like you did with the drivers specs for the loft, face, hosel etc. More and more I'm really understanding the importance of wedges and why a lot of the pros carry more than two. (Heard that some even carry four wedges in their bag!) Believe you me, I'm an fordged blade, custom driver wannabe nut! But I'm understanding more and more that wedges are very, very important in this game and any knowledge you and Chris can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Bridgestone balls
Spoon, What's your swing speed? I plan on trying some 330-S's, because they are supposed to have the "spin factor" that I like, compared to the 330's. I have some I(s)'s now, but haven't tried them yet. I'm most comfortable around the greens, and approach so I gotta' have some spin, but you say the feel on the 330's is good. When you do B-Stone's online fitter, it says that the feel on the 330's is lower compared to the 330-S's. When I did it, it said that based on what I want, I'd like the 330-S. FYI: my swing speed is in the high 90's to very low 100's.

Driver feedback...
Hey, how does the Titlesist VG3 compare to the 909D2?

Driver feedback...
Hey everyone, thanks for taking the time to reply to my post. My apologies for taking forever to reply to my own thread. :p Well, if this is for the better player, I'm not sure if its for me or not. When I was working with my club fitter last year, I was set on KZG Q driver. For those that don't know what it looks like, here's a linky: http://www.kzgolf.com/sites/courses/layout...&page=34119 So far, for me, what we've found out, is that as long as my stuff is fit for me, I can pretty much hit anything and (Not as consistently as I would like mind you...) since I'll be playing with KZG's blades, I'm pretty sure I'll be able to hit these drivers with some tweaking. Still have to finalize a few thing here and there with my driver specs though. Once I get final specs for irons and woods, I'll let everyone know what I've found. Thanks again for the replies.

Driver feedback...
Hey Chris! Well, the reason I only picked these particular drivers, is because these are just the driver heads themselves. There were more to choose from, but I was only interested in these particular ones. Did some research, but wanted some more feedback. Also, when you said,"erase the other shafts...", you meant drivers right?

Driver feedback...
Hey people! Interested in getting one of above drivers. Please either vote in the pole or reply with some comments of which you like the best or do both. Thanks in advance for voting.

Epon - Kamui - Crazy Driver
I don't have any of them. :p But, if I could get one, I'd get the Kamui. Customizing is a beautiful thing. :)

Golf Grips
Thanks Vineman, That's what I've been hearing concerning the Masda's. I don't think I want a firm grip, actually I know I don't want a firm grip. For the record though, I'm leaning towards Best Grip (was US Grip Master) and this new smooth grip they have now and the Nowon's, probably the 50's. I may wait for the new Iomics, but it depends on when my clubfitter gets healded up from his surgery. If they'll be out before the end of March, I might buy one to try it out...we'll see. :) Thanks again for the reply.

Golf Grips
The reason why, is because when I tried that club, it was nearly two year ago! I'll be getting my clubs built this year, so I'm trying to narrow down the grips that I might try. My club fitter will literally have me try different grips on this 6 iron he'll start me off with, so I want to help him out by narrowing it to at least two to three grips. Once I decide on the grips, that'll be it, 'cause I won't have the money or time for another set to try. I'm using the Winn's as a "guide" if you will of what I like. Mind you, he has lots of differernt no-name grips I could use and I though I was sold on some precisions, but they didn't feel right with a glove on. I'll probably buy 4 grips from different companies, based on the variables I'm looking for and from there, we'll work on settling for one of those. So yes, I know that I like the Winn grip I tried, but I want to me sure that it's definitelythe one that I want too. Thanks for the reply as well.

Golf Grips
Sup people! My question(s) this thread, revolve around grips. Now, I know that grips are a very personal thing for each golfer, so I'm basing my questions more towards comparing grips. (USA vs. JP) This way, it helps to take out the "personal" fellings for a specific grip...well, that's the plan anyways. :p The grips that have tried, mainstream wise, was Winn. The first time I went to my club fitter's shop, I was able to hit his personal KZG original wedge with a Winn grip on it. Now, I have no idea what grip from Winn was on the club, but I do know it was the best feeling I've tried so far since I started looking at clubs again. Now, before you all say, "Well, just go for the Winn's if you like them that much.", I'm really trying to look at all my options, before I take the jump. I know one company can't 100% compare to another, but getting something close would be fine. I'd really like to know what grips, whether J-Spec or domestic, are similar to the Winn's. I'd also like to know, what's probably the best bang for your buck in J-Spec grips themselves. Thanks tons and look foward to your replies.

Golds Factory 24k Year of the Tiger Putter
How come my gut tells me that these things are in the $4,000 range? I could way off, but I wouldn't be suprised if I wasn't.

Component golf equipment
Sup people. Starting this thread as a spinoff to another thread. I was wondering, which JDM's sell just the head? By this, I am talking about all heads: Driver, Fairway woods, Hybrids, Irons, Wedges, and Putters. It really sucks that some of the best OEM stuff can only be bought assemebled. Even if you get fitted, to me it's not the same as getting fitted about a certified clubfitter, but again, that justme. I know that Vega, Miura, and Kamui Works, allow you to just buy the heads. But who else out there sells component parts like this in JP market?

Counterfeit JDM clubs piss me off
Just for the hell of it, where does Wishon get their stuff forged? Is it in the US or JP?

Counterfeit JDM clubs piss me off
Ok, I stand corrected then. :) I could'a sworn that I read that the proto's were forged in taiwan. My bad. At endo too huh? Nice. :) Still don't like the idea that I can't be fitted through a registered club fitter with them though. If you can, please let me know. Man to get some proto heads by themselves...heaven. For the record, one or two of KZG's wedges are outsourced to either Taiwan or China. Everything else is in JP. :D

Counterfeit JDM clubs piss me off
Man, took me a while to decide even to read this post! Didn't know folks actually were making fake JDM stuff. The way I see it now, as far as forged anything goes, stick with what you know. If you don't know, ask. Also, dealing with a certified custom club fitter wouldn't hurt either. That's truly the way I found out about Tour Spec...well, he told me about golf wrx and found out about gocchin and you guys through them. :p That's one reason, why I'm skeptical about getting any OEM stuff anymore. I mean, as far as I can tell, Taylor Made has the only true forged (made in, not assembled...) stuff in JP next to Mizuno...right? Heck, I'd play with Callaway's proto's if they were forged in JP (and if I could afford 'em. :p). Ever since I've been on the KZG bandwagon, I've been looking to see who else has forged blades in JP, especifically from th Keyoi plant. Another thing people should understand about the JP market, is that the prices gocchin has on Tour Spec, are very competitive to what the have in other store in JP. I'll admit, I've tried other sources to buy real JP spec stuff outside of this store and gocchin's prices are on point. Even if you'd try to use those auction sites that let you bid on Yahoo JP or even tourspecgolf, you're going to be in the same price range...period. Yeah, you may find a deal or luck up here and there, but it's far and few in between. (Trust me, I've looked and continue to look..)

Ok. So I'm way way late for this one. Where are the pics of the new design?

The ONLY hybrids on the planet...
I must admit, I absolutely LOATHE hybrids!!! I mean, I honestly don't know how to hit these damn things at all!!!! One minute they look like a wood, but you damn near have to hit them like an iron! WTF?!?!?! Well, all of that is about to change now. I have found the prettiest and only hybrids that would even think about, let alone play. Here are some pics: As soon as I can afford some Vega RAW irons, I'll at least have one of these bad boys in my line up. Did I mention how pretty they were? :p
