  1. UPDATE : After researching this for about 30mins.....I have absolutely no clue what is going on. The more pics i see the more confused i get !?!?
  2. Perhaps face identification is not as useful as sole ID ??? or I dont recognize the bottom pic....could that be V1 or V3 sole ?? I have the V2
  3. I have seen that "III" stamp on Kamui TP-07S golf clubs in yahoo.japan golf clubs auctions for quite awhile Kamui Aero Kamui Nitro TP-07 V2
  4. How about a topless version on a 7 wood......appropriate pic for when you need to get your wood up quickly !
  5. Sigh, if only they were available in the BST, i would certainly pick some up !
  6. im not sure if this would work but i have noticed that smart phone protectors for screens are amazingly cheap on ebay...you can get a Matte screen protector for a samsung Note2 for about 50 cents a cover when you buy 6....i would use this to protect the crown but you will have to cut to size. Its a good product at a cheap price !
  7. I too enjoyed playing the long and heavy and stout stuff last year, but this year i am changing drastically to the other side for a scenic change... last year 46" 97g x-flex shaft SW E1 felt great and pounded the ball a long ways.....haha this year I'm playing a stock 55g firm flex Kamui shaft at 46" D2 and it doesn't require as much effort, old age hits like a ton of bricks, one day you are young and strong and then suddenly "Low-T" !
  8. The market is very slow in the USA during winter for a dented driver and/or well played irons.....im sure it will get better once it gets warm and people start playing again.
  9. From what little information i could gather.......i think there is the original Kamui Pro TP-07 and that has no stamp on the face and then there is the Kamui Pro TP-07S VII which is designated by a red "arrow" on the face and then there is the Kamui Pro TP-07S which is designated as VIII on the face...and then there is the Kamui Pro TP-07 V-IV or Version 4 which is the Nitro and has no markings on the face.
  10. well the good news is that if you like the original head shape then you do not have to get used to a different look at address !
  11. i thought the release was Tp07 / Tp07-s / Tp-07 Nitro....Is there even a Tp07-Nitro II ???? Im hitting the V1 Nitro and didn't even realize that we are almost to V-IV !!!! *Please keep us updated on that beast
  12. hehe…i saw those during my time but my mom would have whipped me good if i was "ludded" out !
  13. i would say they are equally forgiving, my miss is usually a couple grooves low which result in a thin shot and the VG3 handled the thin misses superbly, the vforged is very forgiving but if i had to choose one, it would be the vg3. The OnOff forged is a very good club and should be considered as well….the older on off forged plus was a stellar iron as well
  14. Love the custom c/s putter, it is a beauty !!!!
  15. Im playing the Kamui Nitro right now at 46" stock with the stock shaft and it has hit some bombs for me…..when i have a stout short shaft, i tend to swing very aggressive but i noticed that the whippier shaft keeps my swing in more control because swinging in beast mode with a whippy shaft is a recipe for a disaster…. **I also am one of those golfers who likes to bomb the driver and not so much concerned with score…..im a very avg, mid handicapper and score doesn't seem to bug me too much. Ive been playing for a long time and i don't see it getting much better. my golf enjoyment comes from playing everything and anything i can get my hands on…..I often go the course with new equipment straight out of the box….a quick unwrapping of irons, woods and drivers and then off to the first tee…..my range is 43-47" drivers from reg flex to xxflex and irons from 3 flat to 4 upright ….no matter what the setup, my score is gonna be 80….dont even need a putter and even missing a few irons and no woods.
  16. robbie posted a post in a topic in USDM BST
1.) Box of 225 ProV1s……..75 are absolutely brand new never been hit and the rest, 150 are either logo or have been hit once but no scuffs or cuts or signs of use, I would grade the balls as mint. $480 net to me shipped (USA ) via USPS priority.
  17. they remind me of the old VG3 at address
  18. Im happy with the nitro but since i love everything new, im sure ill try to get the kamui works as well....The Nitro may not fit everybody but it seems to work well for my swing. My only gripe is why put weight ports in the rear if you cannot change the weights ?
  19. This is a excellent condition 3wd pull…it played 43" in my tight lies tour issue 3 wood….Shaft has been played exactly 1 range session and 27 holes of golf $165 net to me
  20. I'm going off memory since it has been awhile since i owned both….the VG3 felt softer to me, the VG3 also looked to be a bit shorter from heel to toe, but the VG3 was longer heel to toe if we are talking about the 2012 "tour" vforged
  21. Thank you Chris, the driver was awesome and the "delay" was hardly noticed ! Is it just me or is the Kamui stock stiff a bit softer than other factory stiffs ????
  22. Just got back from the range and ill chime in. This driver does remind me of the 460Z in terms of feel and sound, although it might be just a smudge quieter and the ball flight is quite a bit lower. I prefer the foam to the unfoamed version and if i could change something, I might make the face deeper. The club is pretty damn long and forgiving. another thing i noticed is that this club is pretty hard to hook and i normally hook everything ! * damn spell auto-corrector !
  23. Cool…..thank you for the clarification
  24. The foam version does not contain nitrogen ???? i thought there was a Nitrogen version and a Nitrogen + Foam filled version * IS it Nitrogen filled or Nitrous filled ?
