  1. a very good one !
  2. im bidding on a couple of these drivers on auction right now, and just waiting for the auction to end this evening.
  3. Is that shaft installed by factory ? any interest in selling head only ?
  4. That meaty cavity reminds me of the Titleist dci wedges
  5. Thank you for the trade offer but the syard is a little too shallow for my preference.
  6. $375 net, shipped (USA)
  7. Price lowered $400 ( net to me )
  8. those spots u see on the sole pic is water droplets, i wiped the head down with a clean wet rag and headcover is included but not pictured
  9. 1.) Driver head with 2 sleeves, i have a extra weight but i need to find it ! $425.00 net to me ( located in CA, USA ) i would grade condition as very good 8.5/10
  10. If they are steel then too much heat should not be a problem. When extracting steel shafts, i usually skip the shaft extractor unless there is a delicate finish such as the KBS custom series or the PXis with the gloss finish.....Also when heating, there is no need to heat until smoking, a lil patience is better, apply some heat to get the unit warmed up and reapply until the epoxy breaks down and then twist head off.....NEVER twist a graphite shaft off, if u dont have a shaft remover then do not attempt, also apply minimum heat to remove a graphite shaft, shear force is preferred to heat
  11. i have played a few of the newer versions but always come back to the k2k ! I find the K2K to be more forgiving although the power tornado is a bit longer and lower spinning and the K2K hits a higher ball and seems to be plenty long
  12. 105-112 and u get those distances.......i better keep an eye out for the JBeam 435 !!!!!
  13. Those are impressive drives. Especially via GPS which i find always shortchange me on distance. How fast is your swing speed ???
  14. 30 yards is quite a bit of distance gain.....i actually lost about 25 yards when i had the 435R, the 435 II was not too bad but it was still about 10 yards shorter than my Taylormade R11 dot ( 420cc head ). I would probably pay 10k for a driver that would go 30 yards further than my Taylormade R11 dot, provided the distance gain was legal. *In retrospect however i never gave the Jbeam and crazy heads much of a tryout because they felt horrible and were not forgiving enough for me. The opposite held true for the P-Tune, the head looks great and the feel and sound is perfect. When I first got the P-Tune, it hit nothing but low hooks and even my good shots went nowhere. However because the club felt so good, i stuck with it and learned how to hit the darn club. Now it is my carry monster and about 5 yards longer than my R11 dot.
  15. looks like styrofoam pellets, they are small and very easy to load into driver head, they will add weight as well as muffle sound. However they are probably used in conjunction with some type of glue or hotmelt, otherwise they are just moving around inside and would be non-conforming ! I have cotton-balled a few of my drivers and love the muffled sound ! The drawback is they are extremely hard to remove !
  16. Sub $400 ????? 290 pounds = $465 USA Dollars ????? Did i calculate incorrectly ?
  17. hmmmmm......since i am always tinkering, decided to try a 117g graphite shaft on a 202 g head, i wonder how this combo will work out ??? waiting for it to dry right now but im pretty sure it will be too stiff for my swing speed, but experimenting is always fun......sometimes it doesnt make sense on paper and specs but will still perform on the range as well as the course.....
  18. i play everything absolutely heavy and get the ball out there with more mass than acceleration. modern day heads can weigh as little as 190g and this is because they are mated to 46+" shafts.....a 200g head would weigh approx 6 swing points more assuming a normal balanced 70g shaft. Therefore it may weigh d2 at 45" and d8 at 46".....I prefer a 202g head with a 96-98g shaft.....i play this combo at 46.25" it doesnt come around that fast (105 normal with 110 being a great fresh day ) this combo really goes for me
  19. haha, you didnt even do it right the first time......you are supposed to take a picture with your name underneath the items, not just a picture of your name and date !!!!!
  20. this driver is on my must try list...i have tried the vspec but never the premia and the crazy boron looks to be a good one !
  21. Seriously ??? Your other BST post does not inspire much confidence *oops, this is an old ad, the seller has been MIA for awhile

i play the golfpride zcord.....very very firm grip. another grip that i play that is almost on the opposite side of the spectrum is the durometer that stew mentioned, they maintain grip even on the most humid of days.......finally a vote for iomic evolutions which have the right balance of firm and sticky.

all u need is a mini torch from a hardware store to remove iron shafts, but u will need a quality puller to pull graphite shafts.......i can make a youtube video for you if u like on how its done, or any other repair u may be considering
  24. like i said .....ballzofsteel !
