in american heads i usally play 8.5 and in japanese heads i find 9.5 to be high but good carry....the ryoma is the first 10.5 deg head i have ever owned in my life, it flies low for me and that is with a high launch shaft with mid spin ! My swing speed is about 103-108 depending on how many days in a row i have been playing and the weather....At my age its not good to swing hard on cold days !
  2. hahaha....im a hoarder !!!!! i dont like running out of stuff.... I didnt get my grips off ebay, but found them on golfwrx a few months ago at a good price
  3. i hope they are real.....i have about 20 of those grips, in that color combo, brand new in the wrappers

The feel is incredible when you connect, it feels so explosive that i am very surprised that the ball didnt go further......I played at my normal course and it was stunning !!!! I hit the ball in the same places as my longest drive ever on those holes or close to it.....ive played probably 200 rounds at Cinnabar and i probably equaled my career best on 5 of the holes and was within 10 yards on another 6 of them......This was a great driving day, it wasnt crazy long and i cant say i have gotten longer with this setup but i can say that my average driving distance went way up and i hit more good drives than normal !!!! My normal driving day is 2 bombs, 4-5 long drives and 5 average ones and a couple of bad drives.....With the Ryoma, i got about 10 long ones and a couple avg drives and one stinker, haha and even that went ok....... But even though that driver is in the bag, i still like looking and trying for the next holy grail !
  10. 270 yards into the wind with range balls is awesome and to do it 13/14 times, wow.......I would bag that baby in a heartbeat ! you do not need any more distance than that to be a + golfer !!!

yes, i agree...i love my Ryoma, i love my Kamui, I love my Yamaha, i love my Epons, and Crazy 435 II ( im sure i will love it when it gets here on tuesday ! ) All the drivers flat out perform but the Ryoma is the hardest to get fitted for.....you have to learn to hit it and find the proper shaft and flex for your swing....but when dialed in, this baby is a magical beast, the kamui is a bomber straight out of the box with any shaft but it doesnt sound very good, the epons are wonderful feeling and great bombers but i dont get much roll with my setups and the epon does not reward you for swinging extra hard...the yamaha on the other hand rewards you when u ripppp it and it is a solid satisfying thwack ! However the yamaha doesnt like it when you are timid with your swing....i noticed that when i am on tight driving holes or trying to "bunt" one out there, the yamaha does not do the trick.....haha im hoping the Crazy is a perfect blend of all my drivers......Oh and a honorable mention goes out to the Yonex ezone 380, a lethal weapon, not the longest or most forgiving but in the right hands, this is a golfer's club !
  12. I have heard so much about the legendary Ryoma driver that i had to try one out for myself !!!! I started with a 8.5 ...nothing special to write home about, very low launch and low spin head...forgiveness...naw nothing special, just a nice looking very low spin driver...I picked up a 9.5 with crazy cb-46, this setup was pretty uninspiring, very average and i hated the shaft, i couldnt get the kick down, it did hit some very nice balls but that was like 1:20 would be good....I got another Ryoma with 9.5 and put in an Attas 8s, this combo was pretty good, average in length, feel, forgiveneess, but very handsome club...i figured that was it....But i had another club arrive from HK, a 10.5 shafted with a graphite design MD 06 SR flex, and this is when i first got a taste of Ryoma MAGIC !!! it felt awesome, hit high soaring bombs, was unaffected by the wing, face was hot everywhere....Wow...it went straight from the box onto the first tee and now into my bag.....Oh and i finally got a taste of the prgr egg....that club sounds weird but man it performs ...it performs ....it performs.....long, straight, easy to hit......
  13. Yamaha and Epon are trusted names.....PRGR and ONOFF are very good companies as is Tourstage.......really couldnt go wrong if you like the way it looks and it is your type of club......there are basically only 3 club heads, you have blades, CBs and GI irons....figure out which head design you like and then choose a shaft and u are set ! As for drivers...haha, go cash in some of your 401k and be prepared to spend a fortune in search of the holy grail !
  14. Sounds like you got a winner there Robb ( better keep it ) ....i too found my magical driver but i still buy every hot driver out there because, well ...ummm...because i score better from 145 yards than 147 yards....hahahahaha

i second all 3 kamui, ryoma, and crazy !!!! but the best feeling sounding driver is still a tooss between the epon 460rz and my all time fav ft9 TA

haha...now i need to make room for this driver myself.......the crazy and the yamaha as well as my ryomas and kamuis are taking up too much room !!!! But ilike them all.....Oh and i have got to be the only person on this planet that doesn't like crazy shafts.....yep yep i said it, i said it....perhaps they are only for accomplished golfers because i cant even get to the ball with a crazy shaft ! cannot even get to the ball...............sad
  18. kbs tour reg flex they are money !

  22. robbie replied to robbie's post in a topic in Buy, Sell, & Trade
The 10.5 deg Ryoma or maybe the v440 that stew has for sale or its back to my Kamui ! Haha or if it doesnt sell, Ill sell the 10.5 and keep this one !!
  23. wow, your girlfriend has some nice sticks !
  24. I have had the same experience.....Out of the box, the driver was nothing special but it gets better with every range session and round of golf....i have had mine for over a week and i am finally getting the hang of it, it is a low spin driver and it wont reward you on sloppy swings but it will forgive a good swing but not a bad one......
  25. is that supposed to be the taylormade 2009 tour preferred or the callaway 2009 tour authentic ?
