  1. Hey Darren, i just took apart the Maruman conductors and i have to say, your clubmaker does excellent work, very very very nice......everything is supertight and on the money !!!! i felt really bad disassembling his work !

I just got back to this thread and Stew is absolutely correct !!!! I like the Ryoma mostly for the forgiveness and the feel.....now feel is subjective and i prefer the thwack versus the ting......as for distance, the reason the Ryoma is long for me is because of the forgiveness of the head and the large sweet spot as well as the super whippy shaft i employ ! Since all JDM drivers are stellar, it is easy to find a gamer....however due to our passion we always lust for more......everybody wants the best looking driver with the best feel and the most forgiveness and accuracy with super length. This can be found but always be realistic.....you need to rank your priorities to find your gamer ! 1.) If its distance u need, then look for one that gives you the best launch and spin characteristics.....even in length there are 2 factors to consider, do u want carry or roll....haha we would love both but u have to trade off a bit sometimes, one factor will always be dominant over the other 2.) How much forgiveness do u need......a guy who can hit the same pea sweetspot does not need as much forgiveness as the higher capper who sprays the face....you have to acknowledge your skill level and choose appropriately......buying a gamers stick and being a high capper does not bode well. 3.) Finally there are looks and feel.....there are different types of shapes, so you have to decide on what appeals to you, deep or shallow and then you have to agree with the fit and finish....and certain name brands are inspiring and some are not. then hopefully you find the club that feels the best to you, the one that inspires you to hit buckets of balls at the range and pull out driver on almost every hole on the course. 4.) Hopefully the club you find is within your budget because choosing a shaft will be ultimately harder.....haha did i mention that even choosing a grip will be thought filled....firm or soft ....taper the tape or tube it out ??

  15. did u put the gel in through the hosel ???? is the gel sitting on the sole of the club ??? ive heard that hot melt can be strategically placed in the head for bias purposes.......im so itching to try out the one u have in BST : P
  16. damn...i can imagine how many tourstage and honma fakes there are out there.....not to mention ALLLLLL the Taylormade, Titleist, Callaway fakes.......sigh....lucky i have enough equipment to last a lifetime already....ummmm probably 10 lifetimes...lol
  17. Hmmmm....those specs fit me well !!!! : )
  18. Are u talking about the v440 power length ???
  19. if your hands are really tight, it is harder to release the club properly, but of course if u pivot back and pull it, it will go left...haha unless u have a xxflex then it will be a pull /slice, which actually works out ok
  20. Actually when i grip tight, my hands do not turn over resulting in big blocks, but when the hands are loose i get a nice draw !
  21. ive got a yamaha 4.6V.....i think its a 2009 but damn that driver is solid , great feel and piercing flight .......tons of roll too and really good looking club at address !!!!

This is a 9.5/10 mint condition head, weighs 205g SOLD trade interests include other JDM drivers and Iron sets, mint cond only, drivers in 10 deg and above ...hehe i swing the wimpy stuff
  24. yep....i normally play very low lofts in heads and am most comfortable with the 10.5 Ryoma Vspec......i did have the 8.5 and the 9.5 as well but they hit penetrating bullets instead of the high bombs that i wanted......JDM drivers such as crazy and Ryoma and Yamaha are some of the few drivers out there that you can play in a high loft and get massive carry without worrying about ballooning the ball....My 10.5 pierces through the wind if i hit it square
  25. Wow....those Rupas are sharp....killer deal for top end wedges !
