I have this sickness......
i used to play Honma....definitely the softest metal out there....softer than any forging i have ever tried and the 4 stars is no joke....that would be super pricey upgrade......the metal on honma is not forged but the 27 steps they use to prepare the head is amazing......i wouldnt play honma from the vintage years without headcovers......each click click in the bag = a ding or bag wear mark.......amazingly soft clubs with awesome detail !

Shaft flex confusion
ive hit both the crazy black and the crazy noir series and the noir series at 7.7 is much whippier than the 7.7 black series even at comparable weight class ! * Crazy is a bit of a weird shaft, some guys swear it is too stiff and another playing using the same shaft will find the shaft too whippy......Ive found through trial and error that when Crazy says a certain shaft is for smooth swingers and certain shafts are for agressive hitters, they really do mean it !!!! some guys think they are aggressive but they have no idea that there are agressive swingers out there ! Just started playing presidio golf course by my house, they must raise monsters here !!!! Ive walked on as a single player four individual times and all 4 times there were guys longer than me in the group and im not talking about 5-10 yards longer, im talking 30-50 yards of carry longer and 2 clubs on irons and my irons are jacked ! 2 deg strong and half inch over .....Also, its not just one person in my group, its usually 2 players and a couple of times it was 3 players !!!! I hit the ball pretty damn far but these guys are in another zip code.......they refer to me as a short knocker with a great short game, as they pay up : )

anti-right shaft -- Crazy LY-02
im actually thinking about making the move to a 8.1 flex in this shaft, so that should say something about the stiffness of this shaft. I play modus stiff in my irons which are considered soft and i also play Nippon 950gh in stiff and KBS tour in reg. I dont liek the stout stuff.....if anything the stiff will be a tad soft when u go after it !

anti-right shaft -- Crazy LY-02
The LY02 is solidly in the bag right now ! for such a lighweight shaft it has tons of control and performs well in windy weather as well. The most important thing when playing this shaft is to make sure u get the proper flex, i would try to play this one about a half flex stiffer than u normally use. If u get too whippy a flex, this shaft will draw really hard on a aggressive swing. This shaft is perfect for a smooth swinger and u can step on it quite a bit but if u like to swing aggressively, this shaft wont work ! i play modus 120 stiff and find them to be very nice...i could probably go up half a flex but stiff seems to be fine for now, my fw are fubuki 75 stiff and 757 stiff and these are perfect, i dont need them any stiffer but in the LY02, im playing a 7.7 flex and i find this to be quite playable....there is zero boardiness in this shaft !

THE END OF ryoma re builds... final....!

2006 Tourstage X Blade CBs 4-PW w/Tourstage M266V stiff
i believe they are nippons....isnt this maruyama spec shafts ? If i remember correctly, maru hurt his back or shoulder and wanted a softer feeling x100 with the same ball flight and this was the result

anti-right shaft -- Crazy LY-02
Just got off the course with my 7.7 flex LY02....normal shots are small draw and easy shots are straight, a tad bit right due to partial push and full godzilla swings are big draws. Almost perfect shaft...I couldnt hit the power fade ....this club refuses to fade on command, but the flex is tight but still wants to go left...if u are a big hitter with fast hands, forget it !! This wont work......but if u want a reliable draw on a tight lightweight shaft....this is as good as it gets.....haha anybody need a excellent/mint cond LY02 in stiff flex ??? cheap ??? 44"

JDM driver heads vs R11s v2 (tour issue 440cc) head.
Its really hard for me to say.....with JDM clubs, the specs are usually spot on ! The usa clubs however vary in loft tremendously ! A 8.5 is usually really a static 10 degree.....anyways the r11s V2 that i had was fairly low spinning but i didnt have my gamer shaft in it so it would be hard to compare. Ive heard very good things about the "tour" rbz ......if i was going after tm, i would certainly look into that
