    very nice bags!! GLWS!
  2. 120 S are very weak to flex. CPM wise a Modus 120 S standard 7 iron measures 316 CPM For comparison, DG R300 are 321 CPM and Project X 6.5 362 CPM I currently use Modus 125 S which is 339CPM but but also use a set with Modus 120 X which measures 327 CPM and the 120 X definitely feels softer than the 125 S. I've used 120 S in the past but felt that my dispersion was greater with the 120 S and it just felt a bit whippy. Only Modus model that comes close to the Project X 6.5 would be the Modus 130 X at 376 CPM While CPM is not the entire story to shaft fitting, stiffness wise, I don't think the 120S will be stiff enough even with the hard step + tipping for someone who is fit to a 6.5. I don't recommend tipping a taper tip shaft.
  3. All nice selections!!
  4. Well.... whenever you have an adjustable hosel , you almost always need to have an adapter. and this one is no exception. There is an adapter for it. It is a one piece adapter and does not require a special ferrule. It's quite a clean looking finish.
  5. Not sure but typically you should be able to get extra ones when you order the head. I did that with a P Tune head a long time ago.
  6. OK ... I give you the highlights. Trajectory Mid to High True to loft flight. Spin is mid low but probably more on the low side. I did not feel any draw or fade bias really wants to go straight. Distance is as long as my Grandista. Could get longer with the right shaft combo. Sound and Feel. Not SP700 like but also not DAT55 like.... somewhere in between would be the appropriate description. A tiny bit crispy feel than a SP700 faced driver. Would be pleasing to a lot of people. Here's the best part. Hits that are low on the face feels... Springy!!! and it goes pretty much the same distance as your center hit shots. I thought that was pretty amazing. Other than the excellent forgiveness on low face hits, it is a very well balanced neutral driver that would appeal to a wide range of players. Hope this helps!
  7. 8g in my 52 and 10g.in my 58 .... Was thinking about how it would affect the CG ... and I think the CG is higher with the heavier tip weight since the weight sits high in the hosel. Likely that trajectory will be lower and spin will be higher. Similar to what Grandista did with their tungsten ferrule on their wedges and irons. We'll see if this is true.
  8. rebuilt my wedges to make them closer to my irons. they calculate to about D5 or D5.5 Range session yesterday seemed good. no fat shots at least but that could be different tomorrow.... ?
  9. The wedge master has arrived!! ?.

For those considering the Modart head.... don't let the 8.5 loft intimidate you. As a matter of fact, the 8.5 Modart is higher launching than the Romaro Type R by a significant amount. Anyone who normally uses 9.5 by USDM standards should have no issues with the 8.5 Modart.
  16. Seven Dreamers is sold
  17. Whoever won these sets need to write up a full review once they build it!!
  18. The PRGR Tune series have been around for a while. I believe they were exclusively sold through PRGR fitting centers in Japan until now. I had the Tune 02 driver for a bit and it was a very good head. Similar looks from address as the RS series and feel was good as well. Difference is that the Tune series are all bonded hosel. ( which I personally prefer ) Tune 01 is similar to the RS-F ( fade bias ) Tune 02 is similar to the RS ( straighter flight ) Tune 02 woods are Ti construction Tune 05 and Tune 05 Fairway are the most recent releases. Based on the description, 05 is geared towards higher launch and straighter flights with ease to draw.
  19. Thanks. To your point, I do recognize you'd get used to it but I should at least be consistent within the set, right? I don't mind adding tip weights.
  20. What are the effects of too light of a swing weight in wedges? I'm redoing my Miura irons and wedges with Modus 125 shafts but upon calculation, while the irons are coming out at around D5 without any additional tip weight, the wedges are coming out a bit lighter at D2 to D3 .... Do I add tip weight to get to D5 or perhaps higher?
