what is the default weight ?

Graphite Design is doing themselves damage to their reputation by letting these things out in the wild like this.

8.5 loft?! you dont see those much these days. How would you compare this against the Grandista head? looks a bit more shallower, I guess. What are the negatives using this head in a shorter 45" spec? ( with heavier weight head, obviously )

"whatever feels good with your stroke" is my thought on this. I believe more modern putters tend to have heavier head weight and generally come out in the " E " range for standard 34" putters. Counter balancing also very popular now with longer putters.... so it really comes down to personal preference in my opinion. I have three anser style puttrs and sw ranges from D9 to E5 but are all 34.5" long.

I was actually once told I should be using face balanced putters . so I used various mallet putters for sevreal seasons. but then after watching the putting trainer video by Yamada putters, I was made to believe that toe hang should not matter if you incorporate a true pendulum like stroke. so i started using anser style putters and really the misses aren't any different for me.

I think it changes the degree of toe hang. You can actually have a plumbers neck long enough to make the putter "face balanced." ( i.e. Ping Anser 5 ) In the above example, because the plumbers neck is shorter than your typical anser style head, I am guessing it will have more toe hang closer to a heel shafted putter.

I thought there was a post recently about a "Tour AD" logo'd driver head some distributor created for advertising or something....

I buy new stuff based on my own past experience combined with design information of the new stuff. Yes, it gets me in trouble sometimes where it flat out does not work at all... I like to experiement new things. It's part of the fun. But after trying 100+ ( maybe more.. ) drivers and shaft combos in the last 5 years, I think I am getting better at identifying combos that work for me without actually testing it. Even then, there are surprises both good and bad. If you do not like to experiment, best to go get fitted at a shop and buy something that works best for you and not choose off a general list that is really a list of "who paid the magazine the most money!!"

The 435 was super low launch wasn't it? This 450, I feel, is not as severely low launching. Still lower than your typical USDM 10.5 deg lofted drivers because of the deep shape of the head, ball flys more like a typical USDM 9.5 deg head in my opinion. Just as a comparison, Ping G LS TEC 9 deg with Rogue 125 MSI is about the same launch angle as this CRZ combo. The KK Proto is such a nice feeling shaft, it only enhances the soft feel of the DAT55G face!!

Two very nice, very lightly used clubs both in excellent condition!! Would cost much more to build these new. 1. Crazy CRZ 450 head only. Mint Condition! This is the second generation CRZ 450 head. If it wasn't for my Ping G driver, I'd be playing this driver. Very long with great feel and sound! highly potent head IMHO. 10.5 deg 200g Hardly any marks on face,sole or crown. Ping g lstec is 207.5g head weight .. I got it to D4 @ 44.5" using a slightly lighter grip. might be why its working for me. With a 200g head I am sure I'd have a very different experience.

I did not particularly do well with the Diamana X either. I am doing well with a Rogue 125 msi in my Ping G driver currently. The 60 TS flex seems to fit me well. Tightest dispersion I have had with any driver combo. ( its partly the head I think ) I will be trying the FEx BX70 soon. they suggest this shaft be used at 45" club length ( and not longer )

One possible thought is that in Japan, you almost always have a caddie-san when you play. You ask for specific clubs, and they will pull them out of your bag in most cases. Thus the player probably never cares about how easy the club needs to come out? just a guess. .. Also, you notice that almost no one at the practice range has a nylon bag mostly very large and heavy tour style cart bags.
