  1. Raw weight is 125.5g. Lower launching shaft. Very smooth. This was the heaviest NS Pro shaft before the Modus 130 came out.
  2. Prices updated to ridiculous levels!!! Come and get them!!
  3. Thanks Doc!! yeah.. situations change so quickly. I am a sucker when it comes to irons that look great at address. The R1 CB definitely had great looks and I actually had no complaints with the playability especially with the MCI Black combo. I am actually going back to steel shafts on the sets I am building.
  4. I've only played the grey ones in a hybrid. Construction are similar I think .. but the gray MCI I believe are parallel tip and constant weight where as the Blacks are lighter on the long irons and heavier on the wedges and also taper tip to begin with. The lighter long iron shafts really help launch the 4 iron to hybrid level heights. So easy to hit these things!!
  5. Decided to give different irons a try... just had to...

  7. I think I found my answer... In their press release document, it says they are targeting to sell 15000 of these drivers in the first year "domestically in Japan."
  8. Reading thru their ads on their site, there are some information that suggest that it could potentially be slated for global release ... just a wild guess. Maybe I am reading into it too much... 1. In their special site video it mentions "Quality that surpasses Japanese demands and Performance to compete in global standards" 2. Retail price on these drivers are 30,000 JPY lower compared to the last MP Craft Driver ... which gets its closer to USDM competitor products. 3. First adjustable hosel for MP line of drivers... < to compete in the US market, adjustable hosel is a must >
  9. Those look stunning! The non glare look make the irons look all business and appear as more playable and less likely of ending up as office ornaments! S25C or S15C ? or maybe SS400?
  10. Love the look on these. If I didn't have my A Grind R1 CBs now, these would be the ones. The main differences I see at address are the shape of the neck transition and heel side face height. These MPs seem to have a larger pocket at the heel side which looks easier to catch the ball in the pocket for a draw whereas my A Grinds don't have as large a pocket. I do like the toe shape on these MP66 more than the R1CB's With so many blade like CB choices these days, the mind just boggles.

When Sasaya-san built a custom IPT Ibushi for me, he did tip the shaft 2 " or so. CPM was well above 500 ... I was able to feel the impact more directly . I unfortunately dont have that putter any longer, but I have two Geo Galaxy putters with the same shaft. On those putters, I did not tip them but they still feel as if my hands are directly connected to the putter head . I used to use Nippon heavy shaft , but for me Dogatti gives me more control and consistency.
  12. Great looking driver! Can these heads be had in custom weights in the 200 to 203g range but not foamed?

Tourstage no longer exists. Bridgestone consolidated their brand a couple of years ago. Their new Tour B series is very much like the Tourstage clubs they used to make.
  14. Sweet! Curious to know. What is the purpose of the additional heat treatment in this case?
  15. Beautiful! I like the way the top line has a clear finish rather than the blast finish extending to the top line. Gives a sleeker and thinner look.
  16. Decided to re-purpose the shafts on the woods. All woods are now "head only"
