  1. So question on why Japan Market versions of USDM clubs are often times non adjustable hosels. Aesthetically, I definitely like the bonded hosel as it usually means thinner hosel diameter. Looks cleaner. Japanese users want aesthetics over adjustability? I also think not having additional mass around the hosel area probably means lower overall CG? Perhaps the difference in CG is pretty minimal, but it would be interesting to see head to head comparison between Epic Star vs Epic with same loft, same shaft and same club length.
  2. No interests in the putter? These are really good putters. I just don't need two. :)
  3. Diamana shaft and Dogatti Six shaft pending.
  4. I always thought a valid credit card and and a shipping address is all you needed to buy things from the TSG pro shop..... regardless of where you live in the world.

Get the pink one, dude !! Everyone will notice your putter!
  6. Cool !! Thats four of us now. any more so we can form another group?
  7. Completely forgot. Added a Dogatti Six X Stiff shaft Splendid shaft. I have no use for an X flex honestly.

I have not tried it yet.. ( sorry if I have mislead.. ) But I think the angled offset approach in a putter grip is highly innovative. It is supposed to reduce the potential twist of the face upon off center impact. Interestingly this company makes Guitar picks as their primary business!!
  9. Hey Mikey!! I agree! Indeed these were phenomenal feeling blades. I only got to try these on mat surface due to the very soggy conditions, it did not make sense to even try these on the course at this time. Would love to give it another whirl in drier conditions. How did you find the turf interaction in your AZ conditions? I hit them side by side against A Grind Proto MBs, Yoro MP33s as comparison, and these Kyoeis were the best feeling of the three by quite a bit of margin. My Yoro33s are by no means a slouch either in terms feel. If I was good enough to regularly bag a true flatback MB, these would be No.1 choice.
  10. MB

+1 on the R1CBs... Would still be playing them it it weren't for my current sets. GLWS!!
  11. I believe Chris is in Japan until May or so...
  12. Thanks Stu, Thanks Chris, Both look nice. but I do prefer the overall shape of the Seven MBs for sur I also saw the Mirai pics and did not like the writing on the back face using green and red paint. ( a bit Christmas-sy. ) I am very happy with my Sevens. Still getting used to the high manuverability of these heads. Sorry Prem, I did not mean to hijack your post.
  13. So these Grindworks MB-1 are from different blanks than Seven MBs?
  14. Ok folks, after thinking long and hard, I decided to part with one of my putters from my arsenal. I just don't use it and I love my other NP2 style Geo Galaxy. This is an extremely hard to find Geo Galaxy putter made of Carbon Steel. More recent putters from them only use SUS303 as far as I know. For those who are not familiar, Geo Galaxy putters are priced between 150000 yen to upwards of 300000 yen depending on model, material and finish. The putter was restored and refinished by Tom Slighter here in Seattle last Summer and I have not used this putter outside the house since then. This is his Kuro Kaminari ( Black Lightning ) finish . Logo has black paint fill. Deep milled face. Yes, it has the Dogatti PT 135 shaft as well as a Grip Master Leather 1.3" taperless grip in black. 35" long, Putter weighs around 547g, Standard lie. I believe the head weighs right around 350g. Condition is near 10/10 .. except for the head cover. The original head cover is beat up a bit. But it still does the job of protecting the head. Will not be breaking apart this combo so please not ask for shaft only. For those who want to try a good graphite putter shaft that is also very rare. I have a Diamana Prototype putter shaft. Will build to 34.5" with a typical anser style head. Raw weight was 135g at 36" I guess the new '17 retail version was based on this one. Graphics on this one looks like an A'hina with the Ion finish. SOLD This shaft also did not make it outside. Cosmetically perfect. Also a Dogatti Six Driver shaft 43" X Flex 280cpm I tried it in a couple of heads, not stout as the stated CPM. Would make a wonderful shaft for a 44.5" driver with a heavier head. Seems to have a double kick type characteristic. SOLD Not a flaw on the cosmetics.
  15. !! YeSSSSS!!
  16. 15th works for me, 29th would not work.
  17. I am looking for some feedback on Miura S-01 wedges. Anyone use them currently? I have read that due to the extra soft steel they use, distance is somewhat shorter? Interested in feel, versatility from various lies ( fairway, rough, sand.. ) , turf interaction, and if they are easy to hit with the face open. Thinking about replacing my Modart Suda wedges with them.
  18. As am I. :) Com'n folks!! we need to get at least two foursomes going this time!
  19. So are these S20C or S25C ? Not sure if it makes a huge difference , but the Shinagawa MBs (S20C) definitely feels softer than any S25C heads that I have played in recent years. It may be due to the copper underlay, not sure. Is it still possible to do a Copper underlay with Nickel plating but also keeping the milling marks with these CBs?
  20. Imagining these in Black Nickel grain finish with MCI Blacks... (drooling.... )
  21. April 22 or 23 might work?
  22. Course called Avalon in Burlington is supposed to be very good. It shouldnt be too far down from the border.
  23. Eight ( Hachi ) can be read as "PA" "HA" or "BA" in these cases.
