Looks like Epon is coming out with their version of the above driver design in gold ... which usually means non-conforming Senior player oriented driver.

The number "877" can be phonetically abbreviated in Japanese as "Banana" thus the yellow paint! :) Guessing the green one represents a green unripe Banana!! Japanese companies love to play with product names .. make them "Kawaii' (Cute) or funny and catchy.

Simply Amazing!! This is the most high tech once piece forged iron I have ever seen. I first thought that these are almost "digital" looking vs the "analog" of traditional forged heads that go thru a lot of manual grinding. But the thought around the precision and tolerance control that CNC process can deliver is definitely growing on me. I also like the matching AW idea very much, and while I do not mean to be too picky, I would prefer a 52 deg AW since the 9-PW loft gap is 5 deg. Alternately, if the PW was 46 deg, then I think 50 deg AW would be perfect. Need to start saving up for these!! :)

looks like low-mid kick point was translated as "moderate" and mid kick point was translated as "medium" hope that helps.

Got to show my Shinagawas to Dr Shanks and Cuistot today. But most of all, the course Pro ( who I know from playing together a few times last year ) was simply amazed at my irons!! This was actually my first round with them on the course and the feel was so much better with real balls. I currently use TM Lethals and they are somewhat clicky but not with these irons. Had a nice sticky sensation at impact. I now want to try a softer ball like a B330S with them. Should produce a marshmallow soft feel

Would have given the wedges a try if it weren't for the offset. Very very unfortunate.

The course we are going to tomorrow, "Legion Memorial" in North Everett is actually known as a course that drains well. Hopefully our drives will get some roll on the fairway!! :)

That would be awesome. I am still new to the area so I'll need to do some research but we will have to make it happen. Might make sense to make it a two day event so that Vancouver and Portland folks can drive in. Exciting!!

Would love to get a monster distance 3W that might be a bit more forgiving than what they have today. 170cc , shallow profile , DAT55G face , bonded hosel A '17 M2 3W and Ryoma 3W killer is what I need!!! New graphite iron shaft options would be of interest as well.

Well, that new year's resolution for only owning a single set at a time for play may have to go out the door!! Darn!!

Alright, I am getting close to getting an M2 fairway... not sure of 2016 or 2017 ... But those who have tried the new Ryoma F3 and M2.. how do they compare. Are Ryoma FW as long as the M2 fairways?

Thanks for the video .. but problem solved! I was scooping the ball as I thought. Hitting down has resulted in straight to the target shots... Yay!! Just need to make sure the scooping does not come back.

Dr Shanks and I are going out to play a round on Saturday March 25th. Tentative location is Legion Memorial in Everett and I only have one tee time at 12 pm at this time. ( If we have more that a foursome, we could potentially have changes to the location ) Cuistot! where are you? I have sent a couple of emails but have not heard back!! :) If others in the area would like to join, please PM me .

And of course ... the entire problem could be me and my swing. :) I have a more sweeping swing and less hitting down on the ball which could be contributing to the issue as well.
