It's actually very easy to launch. I only used it on the range, but our range here is actualy grass as opposed to mat.

Yonex Ezone MB is a good match , but I am not sure if it can be classified as "forgiving." Compare to a Titleist 690? sure, much more forgiveness ... For that price range, a used set of Yamaha 2013 Tourmodel blades may be possible. Mizuno MP68 and 69 are fairly forgiving and probably can be easily had for less than 450. Maybe even the MP5 Is he looking for something that has more or less forgiveness of a Cavity Back? Those are harder to find for obvious reasons.

Professionally hotmelted to 215g Says "DEMO" on hosel. Obviously does not affect performance. Small paint chip along the edge of face line. No headcover SOLD ********* Crazy STP 85 3 Iron shaft (38.5" grip end to tip) Crazy STP Proto 100 4-PW (5 iron 37.25" grip end to tip) Example build : Mizuno MP64 5 iron length comes to 38.5" Grips are Iomic Sticky 2.3 ribbed. Cosmetically flawless. This is more ore less an SX flex shaft. Tightest dispersion shaft I have ever played. Tip is sanded down just enough to fit a .355 hosel. Tip section walls are thick enough that I do not see any issues with this method. If you have doubts, you should opt for a set that has not been sanded down. - SOLD!!

Tim, CBI-80 Limiteds are no longer available. but they are .370. STP 100 were .370 but I sanded them down to fit a .355 hosel

With STP you need to select the weight range appropriately . STP 100 is quite stout. I am actually selling mine. Too hefty for the old man. :( My back up has the CBI80 limited in the "Stick" flex which is supposedly a "regular" flex is perfect for me. These shafts are currently in a Yonex Nanov Nextage Forged Cavity ( non-tour ) which luckily came with a .370 hosel to begin with. I love this set up. Endo forged S20C somehow feels softer than any other Endo irons I have tried. CBI-80 shafts only compliment the soft feel further. Hard to believe these are actually graphite shafts. I am going to try the Modus 105 with my main set.

I am assuming you mean the original one and not the newer one. I have an original one in IP black 10.5 deg Hot melted to 203g It's a bit high launching for me. PM me if you are interested.

And an adjustability of the CG height , I suspect added forgiveness because of the cavity structure. ( similar to Nike drivers ) I also was not a big fan of the dead wooden sound that the foamed ZY-11 produced... Hoping that the ZY-7 will be better sounding and without foam.

Awesome! Would like to see a direct comparo between zy11 from a performance perspective ! I guess I am not 100% sure of what loft to choose with this.
