  1. Woohoo!! Let the games begin! "Grandista" against the rest of the world! I will definitely have to report back how my Grandista Ver. S / 7D combo performs after I get my steroid shot into my left wrist :)

Sorry for pointing this out, but a digitally added name really defeats the purpose of having a piece of paper in the pic with the club. Any malicious user can add a digital drawing/signature in a picture. May I suggest you read this post? : http://forum.tourspecgolf.com/topic/35331-new-bst-photo-rules-effective-aug-20th-2013/
  5. My other reason for staying with Hybrids is I get more height with hybrids and can make the ball stop from 200+ yards. I can't do that with Utility Irons or regular long irons.
  6. Currently using the 52 58 combo with these. These are made of S15C... so feel is off the charts! The grinds are highly versatile as well!!
  7. this shows how SS alone does not determine what type of shaft you need. especially flex.
  8. I actually don't feel ut irons are "easy" . I get more consistency with hybrids.
  9. Mine is right in Stiff range , but the torque is lower and the kickpoint is mid-high . My SS is around 105 to 110 mph with a fairly smooth transition.
  10. Thanks for posting this Mikey! For a moment there I felt like my specs were totally out there in Freakland territory :) Mine looks comparatively normal now!
  11. 183cm(6ft)so tall for being Japanese but not too tall in the general sense. This club is a result of the fitting in their Tokyo studio. I did get to hit one of their 46" drivers at the fitting and I had no issues hitting it well. Pretty sure that one was around D5 sw or so. Nowadays, there are stock JDM drivers that are over 47" granted they have lighter heads than mine, but I am not too concerned. Used to tinker around with long drive type clubs that had higher swing weights at 48"
  12. Not usually, but this Grandista was originally built with a Diamana B 60X at 46.25" when I did the fitting and I had no issues with consistency. D9 is probably the heaviest SW for a driver I had. We'll see!
  13. I thought you may be interested in what I received thru 7D today!! - The driver :) - velvet club case with 7D logo stitched in silver - CFRP polisher/cleaner with cleaning cloth in a velvet pouch - membership card with your name on a carbon fiber card. - Owner's booklet with design specs and actual final build specs. "Exquisite" all the way!! I wish I was in a condition to try this out but I think I am a couple of weeks out until I can swing clubs again. I hope to post reviews including a comparo between my AF153/AAA combo once I am able to!! In the mean time, here are some pics. Specifically, check out the specs!! 319.8g 46.75" D9 !! Holy CRAP !
  14. it just made it to SFO yesterday. out of customs and on my way either today ot tomorrow. Woohoo! However, I am currently suffering some type of tendinitis in my left wrist and really can't make good full swings until i get like a cortizone shot or something to ease the pain. Will post some reviews hopefully soon!

  16. Woohoo! thanks Robbie!!
  17. PM sent on the leathers
  18. One of the best feeling putters!! SM490A feels like a dream! The heavier weight also really helped with stability. Finish and quality was top notch as well. Unfortunately, I'm just not good enough to play blades. Doing well with Daddy Long Legs for the moment :)
